Im Confused

okay i was reading a thread, (Yeah good for me), and anyways, I realised there will be no Random battle encounters. But this confuse's me, with no random encounters how will it work, Will you just face monsters you have to face, wheres the fun in that. I like leveling up my characters and in fact I find it rather enjoyable..., How will they become strong, I HOPE its not true but...,

So is it true If it is how will we deal with Levelling up?

My guess is it will be a similar system to Kingdom Hearts which means you see the monsters as you get close and you will still level up. From what it looks like it will still use the same RPG formula just the battles will no longer be random.

I was pretty bummed about the no random encouters. It just doesn't seem Final Fantasy like. I'm sure it'll work though, I'll have to see it first.

It's more like the Tales games.

You can see the enemies onscreen, and when you touch them, you get pulled into battle on the spot. If you are low on health/items and think you might lose a fight, you run away before they touch you. If you want to level up and want more fights, run in circles while more enemies appear on the screen, and touch them all.

It's pretty straightforward, and will in no way impede the gameplay of those who wish to grind levels.

Oh well in a way that could be better if you have low hp and then you can choose not to fight and get to a save point. I suppose it will work then.

It does seem kinda confusing about the whole thing, but the battle system seems pretty fun and the only thing I could say that seems confusing is probably the Gambit system.
