Roommates, the good ,the bad, the smelly

Room mates, well, Anyone who's moved out of there parents and into a flat would have flatmates/room mates.

What are yours like,

I moved out a while back, into my own place, had to pay rent, everything going good for like a day, then my room mate or Landlord, surprise's me, I find him in MY room playing MY playstation eating MY natchos.
Whats worst was he's very unhygenic likes walks aroung in his Pjamas the whole day drinks stale milk, eats stuff which been on the floor ect.

I moved out recently, after my girlfriend wouldnt come round there any more because he was a bit of a perv. Plus he played runescape, runescape sucks.

So I moved out again, carrying my playstation computer and Cloths, and my radio, into another flat, Guess what, living with two females, Lesbians to be exact, guess everythings fine and dandy but my girlfriend comes over and stays a few nights,. The lesbians didnt like her and me so week later moved out again.

I moved out 2 months ago and now I live with my grilfriend, and this College student. He's okay cos I never see him cos he works nightshifts. But she's more of a slob than Cameron, (first roommate).

Room mates....ugg....

I probably have bad qualities aswell but theres some things I cant stand....

My first roommate was a bitch. I am not a racist person but she was the typical black angry women. Just because I had the courtesy of letting her say an do as she pleased..she thought that I was scared of her because she was black. One day I yelled at her. "your not black..your just a bitch!" she was just as hot tempred as I was. She was racsist. So I left her to wallow in her own dumbness. I don't need to go through that dumb," Oh I am such a opressed black person."Okay my family didn't have slaves, and I don't care what color you are. If you are a bitch I will call you on it. White people scared of black people....BAH! Never been scared in my life of someone of a different color. You hit me....you go to jail..no matter what. Or to be realistic...I hit them><.

My second roomate was cool. my aunt was sick so I moved out of my apartment to take care of her gf an her assests while she was gone for 4-5 months. Even when the medical bills piled up an I was begging for more hours my roommate helped me out. I am so thankful for her. She was a great friend, and we ended up being very close friends. We even talk today after my aunt passed away I went o go see her. Could not have asked for a better roomy.

Well if you are not makeing the money you need to keep your place. Yes you would almost have to get one. If I ever get one it well be someone I know for sure well pay up when it is time.

If you make the money I would not get one. I want a place that I can have people over and not have to think if my romy has cleaned the place up or not.

This is only until January though. I have been saving every dime in hopes of getting my own place. Oh I need one.

well, the closest thing i've ever had to a roommate was the people i had to share my cabin with on camp. they NEVER shut up, they NEVER listened to anything or anyone but themselves, and they NEVER showered for the whole 2 weeks we were there! they would have to be the WORST roommates EVER!!!!!

sounds like you've got yourself a good arrangement. he may be your friend, but i dont think ANYONE could handle living in the same place as someone else 24/7, if if they are your best friend. i cant even handle living with my family. good luck on getting your own place!

I've had more roomates than you can shake a stick at.

They all suck. Which is why I live alone. Trust me people... it is worth the extra money to have your own space and not having to deal with other people's messes and crap.

I've gone through it all. From people stealing my clothes to having drug dealers pound on the door wanting their money. Not cool. You never truly know a person until you live with them, and by living with them you can open yourself up for all their problems.

Not to say it doesn't work mind you... I'm sure it does! Just never did for me. Now I live alone and I love it!

I live in a college dorm now. I have two roomies. Jacob and Zach. Theyre both pretty much harmless; I won't be having to worry about random drug dealers or whores coming by. Jacob's got a girlfriend he cares about and Zach.... Well.... I doubt we'll be seeing ladies coming by asking for him.

Yeah. I've only been with them for around.... 4... 5 days? I'd say thus far it's been fine, and it will probably just get better. I'm quite used to not having too much space to myself, so this whole dorm thing shouldn't be too hard.

What with conflicting class schedules and all the shit to do on/around campus..... I won't see so much of them that I will be sick of them, methinks.

Cept.... They are total lightweights, and I am a night owl. It is 2 am as I type this, and they've been asleep for hours.

Thats what you have to look out for.

Here, two dorms share a bathroom, and their situation is crazy. One guy wakes up at 6 in the morning to go to work, and the other guy stops partying at about 2:15, when the bars are closed up. Both wake each other up. One or both are petitioning to get a new roommate. And their whining carries over to my dorm. I hate them.

I love my roommate. Her name is Peach (well... her real name is something else, but that's what she calls herself), and she is from Beijing, China. She's very sweet and upbeat. And apparently, quite the social butterfly. She already has a lot of friends here. Today, we went to the Chinese market and she bought a bunch of snacks. I was curious, so I picked out something pretty and bought that. So now we have a bunch of Chinese snack food in our dorm. It's lovely. Little cherry cakes and coconut juice drinks. The market is right across the street from where we both have our drawing class, so I think we'll go there often. I'm just so excited about learning about something as simple as another country's junk food.

Anyway, we're having a lovely time together. I should have had another roommate as well, but she never showed. So now it's just the two of us in a three person room. And we finally have internet. Haunted toilet, though. Haha, and yes, she's communist. It's kind of cool to have a whole new view point living with me.

So yeah, so far, my college roommate experience has been great.

I had another one when I went to gov school last summer. She was very Southern and very dramatic. We got along all right. Then again, if you can't get along with me, **** you, you suck as a person.
