First off, I'm not talking about the things in 17 Magazine that tell girls to do weird things to get guys to like them like write thier name on a piece of paper, wrap red string around it 99 times, and place it under your bed on August 28(yes 17 Magazine does teach witch craft ). I'm talking about the in depth things that are said about you sign like....well whatever is said about you sign. I don't care if you vote with out going to the website, it's just there if you're curious.

I don't really believe in it per se but the things I read about my sign are usually true. And it's not just things that can apply to anyone like "you are a curious person" everyone is curious about things. It's the things that seem to describe me(and people I know well) pretty well. Not everything said about my sign is true about me ofcourse, but that's because changes I've made in myself to become a better person. If I were to look at myself in a more instinctive form then more of the things said would match.

If anyone is curious my sign is aquarius and I was born in the year of the snake/dragon depending on the US/Chinese New Year respectively.

I belive In astrology, My girlfriend actually lives by it and is very superstitous. I think its cool because sometimes it actually comes trough. I am a Cancer, a crab I think, not that good with the animals but still its very Intresting.

People think astrology is a load of crap because they dont get any of it.

Well yes, not the stuff in magazines but the real deal is much more accurate. Like I said in another thread there is much more to in than the month you are born. Also I wonder what kind of effect finding the new planets will have on it, it could quite possibly improve it I don't know.

Also I am a Taurus which is one of the Earth signs, and from people I talk to I notice there tends to me a lot of reactions to the all three of the signs (Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo) but at the same time there is also a connection between the opposites ie the Wind signs: Sagatarius, Gemini and Aeris as the closest of my three friends have all been one of them.

Also most of the stuff I have been told about mine has been true, I am quite full on but also lazy, I have a bad temper and I do love my luxuries. Though I don't think I am really stubborn and I don't know about being boring as that is more of a Capricorn trait. But yeah, most of it fits.

I don't take them seriously but I almost everytime read them from magazine. It is fun to check how right them were or wasn't. Mostly them are totally wrong but sometimes them are pretty close. But yes, I like to check them but I don't take them seriously.

I believe in some things. Being cancer, I am a water sign, and i've always been one of those people who loves being in the water. Also, cancerians are supposed to be sensitive, imaginative and creative, which I and some other cancerians I know are like. Cancerians are also supposed to be home-loving, which is true for me too.

Heh... according to this site, Cancerians are often average to below-average height. It gives me something to blame my shortness on then! I have brown hair, short legs and am a clumbsy-walker too, which this says is common of a cancerian. However, my eyes are large and brown (not small and blue or grey) and i dont have a round or pale face. This stuff I dont believe, as its genetics which make your characteristics what they are.

I believe in some of the things specific to starsigns, but not in horoscopes. Theyre funny to read though, especially if they were from a few days ago and they say stuff like "you will recieve great fortune on August 25th" when youve actually not gotten paid. Oooh the irony!

There are times where my horoscope has panned out exactly as said, but for the most part, it's too vague for me to fully trust. I look at it in the long run as no more than the occasional lucky charm.

I think horoscopes are just a load of crock, they're so generalized they could be correct for anyone.

I do find personalities seem to be determined by which starsign you were born under or animal year (chinese). All the characteristics I've compared to myself or friends and so are uncannily correct. However, each person is still an individual and no reading can determine who you are exactly.

Once I checked my Horoscope in the morning and everything it said was true but it could be just me since I feel that all the events happened cuz of me.

I don't really believe in it. Like I won't stake me whole life on things that have happened as being part of the stars plan. I am sure the stars did not plan me to do some of the things I have done. However, it interests me. I like reading about my horoscope an picking out what is true an what isn't. an I like to read the compatability of me an my loved ones. Truth be told I have dated mainly Scorpio's my entire life. No joke. Sometimes they can give me a little hope, or even a little go boost. I think that is just awesome.

I am a cancer/leo. You heard that correctly. 6 hours later an I would have been more leo than cancer, and every leap year I am a leo. Every other year though I am more cancer. We are said to get a long with pretty much everyone, we tend to be shy, jealous, and overly sensitive. Also said about us is that we have a tendancy to hurt people when we don't want them to have or be around anyone else. I have never done this, but I have heard the stories of my kind. We also tend to be great cooks. Which is actually pretty true for me. I am no chef, but I make a mean chicken Alfredo.

As far as my leo side it says that I am very narssasitic, proud, and assertive. A snub basicaly. the one that goes for the guy that doesn't deserve them...so they have the gratefulness of having such a better companion. XD. Horoscopes can be funny. As part of a leo I am also supposed to be very comfortable with sexuality, and I am. Bad thing is that leo hurts cancer a lot. So if a guy tells me he wants to rape me (jokingly)the leo will love it, but the cancer will be hurt. So it is a tough battle to try an keep them both happy.

Yeah, I would have to agree with you there. I read my star sign every now and then and laugh at how silly it sounds. I have even heard about my star sign and think that what they say about my sign is ridiculous. None of it ever comes true for me, I wish though! 'This month you are going to be successful in what you do.' Yeah, whatever.

They write them in a way that it could happen to almost anyone. Then they go on about your lucky number. 'You're lucky number this month is 16'.. yeah it doesn't win me the lotto, it can't be that lucky.

So no, I do not believe in astrology!

Yeah, I think your personalitly is what's most effected by your birth date, maybe the only thing. If it does effect your looks or health then it's probably very minute.

My step great-grandma has a book that uses your birth year and day to more accurately depict your personality. So I it combines your star sign and animal sign. I remember when she read mine, I started getting really nervous because everyting was so accurate and some of it was personal like what kind of soulmate you prefer and other things. I played it cool like it was just something to laugh at, which it was, but really I was like "Damn, that's crazy." I'd like to get that book but her house got washed away in a hurricane, but she's okay.

Meh I cant say I really believe in it. My mum does A LOT, like she nearly plans her whole life around her horoscope and shite.
She also goes to a "fortune teller" who does the whole "Reading of the cards" things and tells her whats going to happen in the year to come. My mum is gullable enough to go to this woman every 6 months despite her love life still going no where. Haha
