| I'll let you in on a little secret...my characters were like level 70 when i beat Zeromus. Big Bang does too much damage to take him at level 50. Even at 70 it tookl two or three attempts. Best advice, go, level up, NOW!

| | Also remember Rydias Summon Asura (I think, the one with 3 heads) and jump are your best friends. I beat him at level 65 -70 and still found it hard. I suggest going back to earth and buying heaps of Cottages then go back to the last save point and spend some time leveling up on those snake like things.

| Asura is too random to lean all your hopes onto. You may cast her into battle only to get Protect on everyone, only to have Zeromus Dispel it a few moments later so you really need to think about it. Most of my runs through the game saw me in the early-mid 60's defeating Zeromus with no real issues. He'll hit hard, at any level, so dont go out of your way as far as leveling up goes. Only general advice I can really give you is this, a character by character to-do list; Kain: Jump Cecil: Attack, occasional Cure Rosa: Spam Cure4 (on everyone), Life2 when someone gets pwned Rydia: Bahamut, Leviathan, Bio, Flare, Meteo Edge: Throw everything in Inventory, lol. And keep Shadows up Simple enough. | ||||||||

| Well, I for one beat him at level 50. He is a tough boss but when u get in the lunair ruins, that is when it does get HARD. I would suggest 2 beat Zeromus the first time with the follwing party: Cid Yang Ryida Rosa Cecil The reson y I picked Cid and Yang, Is beacuse they have a lot of Hp. Ryida will go out on the first turn but when u revive her, just summon Bamhunt. If u use a magic spell, He uses Flare on a person and if u summon somthing he only casts bio on every 1n. Once u went through the lunar ruins with chacters I picked, Cecil's HP(If u leveled up) should be around 3900 witch in this case will survive the Bing Bang and still be able 2 survive his next attack. In the Lunar ruins, U will find Every 1n's strongest weapons. If u go through the Chocbococo floor, go 2 the top of the place and then right and u will find the piggy stick for Cecil(It's weaker than the Ragnarok)and Kain(It's stronger than the holy lance and Defender) U will find a lot of Megaelixiers and Elixirs(If your good at finding them like me) plus if u use steal on the Goblin prices, U will get and X-potion. When u go back 2 the final level with all the other people u missed, they should have more HP and if u bought or found them equiment it will be better. I am only tellin u this because I had trouble 2 and ur playin the GBA one just like me.

| i beat zeromus and these were my following levels in my party cecil lv 58 hp 4090 rosa lv 56 hp 2891 edge lv 58 hp 3134 rydia lv 55 hp 2273 kain lv 58 hp 3800 i beat him doing this in the order 1) i did loads of levelling up to survive big bang 2)i bought loads of cottages and other useful items 3) i went to the last save point in the lunar cave and killed more enemies then when you get the battle with blue zeromus you must steal the item it holds dark matter that will make big bang weaker for one big bang only then use crystal. oncwe in battle with this red zeromus cecil attacks with ragnarok rosa curaja every turn edge attack or throw rydia use asura or bahamut dont use magic otherwise it will use flare kain jump continue this until it dies if you run out o mp use a elixir or megaelixir once you watched the credits a cave will open lunar ruins i think and you will have to save your game | ||||||||

i hava in idea, level up your characters close to 80 and take as much superior healing items as you can afford, and make sure you have the best equipment on. I defeated zeromus with: Cecil @ level 80 Rydia @ level 78 Rosa @ level 79 Edge @ level 74 Kain @ level 79 | ||||||||

| I beat Zeromus at levels 58-60 on the SNES jap version...providing you steal Dk Matter from his first form, keep healing on his second form and DONT USE MAGIC on him (cos Flare just adds to damage), he should be fine. Have Edge dart all your spare weapons and shurikens, Rydia attack and help Rosa heal every round, Cecil attack, Cain jump. Simple. Just lay off the magic!! I only defeated him when I didn't use magic!

| Well, i've pwnt zeromus now at least 4 times....Zeromus EG at least 10 times. However the point of this is that my party configuration, given that i possess the awesome GBA version of the game, is comprised of them soldiers: Cecil - Front Row - (Mainly attacks for 3-4k) Rosa - Back Row - (Casts Holy and Curaja{Cure 4 for you hardcore oldschoolers}) Cid - Front Row - (Pounds enemies for 3-4k, often critical hits) Rydia - Back Row - (Repetitive Bahamut-ing) Kain - Front Row - (Well...nothing new here...simply "double jumping" {Abel Lance} for awesome 9999 dmg.) However if you do not possess these awesome gears, due to the fact that character's lunar ruins only open when you beat the game with those specific characters ![]() Either level up or start crying ![]()

| | Dragoon Nick's right with the order. keep Rosa and Rhydia in the back. I have the US SNES version. I threw the spoon with Edge, then used Masamune and Murasame to keep attacking. Rosa I kept using Cure 4 one everybody every turn. At the beginning for Cecil, I bersked him and used Blink. Can't get better than that. Rydia i kept summoning Baham. And Kain I just kept jumping. It worked when they were in the 60-70 range. | ||||||||

| Might I suggest replacing someone with Porom? Additional Curaja's and Full-Life's make dealing with the Big Bangs that much easier. While you may need to do some leveling to make Porom survive the initial BB, it will be well worth your while. I would also suggest taking on the Cave of Trials. The great thing about this game is that it keeps your levels stabilized automatically. This makes levelling a breeze, regardless of who occupies your party.

| I beated the game right now, and my average party level was 50/55 and I wasn't too hard, I only died once. I keeped using bahamut, fuma shurikens, and curajas, and it went great. When zeromus used big bang, I just had rosa immediatly cast curaja on the ones that had survive, leaving them out of danger to attack. Then, slowly while dealing 2000/3000 with each attack, i'd cast full-life on the dead ones, having then more attack power and killing zeromus. Ahh, almost forget, I swaped kain with the monk, what's his name (i changed his name to lee, so I don't remember), which attacked for 2/3k's has edge would say, "nothing to it!" | lol...omg i can't believe you would switch Kain for Yang. Not only does Kain have jump which makes him immune for turns and then dmg for 5k, but he's so much cooler... I suggest you think about what your doing thoroughly... ![]()
