One other thing is the amazing box art! I live in Norway so I get it later annyhow if I wait for the PAL Version so a couple of weeks after the release in NA is no problem for me. Dont know when the release date for PAL version is.

I just pre-ordered my copy of the SE yesterday. SE's have tendency to sell out quickly at gamestop. Just look at MGS3S.

Yup, I preordered it a while ago and every few weeks there after... I put a little extra cash down on it when I couldn't find a game there at that moment. After a while... I realized I could no longer put any payments on it because I was told that I already have it payed off. O_O

I preordered the regular edition. I like my 10 bucks more than the extras, sorry Squeenix. If I was rich I'd get the SE, but I'm pretty tight on cash.

I just pre-ordered it.
I didn't know how the metal case was going to be and I just saw a link to it, from another forum.
It's gorgeous and it might be my only chance to have an understated and elegant videogame cover, given that the art translates so poorly to the States.
Since my birthday is a few days after the release and my husband is aware of the game since he was wowed over after seeing a trailer, I was just going to let him get it for me as a present.
But, I'm not sure if he will figure it out, much less figure that there is a pre-order special edition, so, I'm not leaving it to chance and I'll present myself with the game.

I heard that it doesn't get released in the UK on PS2 And that it is going to be realesed with Playstation 3 sometime next year.. did anyone else hear that? It sucks because now I'm going to have to spend loads on a playstation 3 just so I can play FFXII.. It better be as good as everyone's saying it is

It probaly will reach the UK and EU since the last installments have done it and with success. And since SE have a large fanbased party in EU it would be kinda wierd if they dident release it, but it may take a while. Or maybe not But it will be worth it`.

I actually pre-ordered it while I was in getting Xenosaga III, since EB was the only place that had Xenosaga III that day. I knew that I wanted the Collector's Edition for this and planned on pre-ordering sometime. I figure what is the extra ten dollars for FF. Especially for one that I am going to love so much. Still have to wait until Oct 31st though.
