see i hate how the ratings are so low on this game. i found this game to be VERY fun and worth my time. i really liked it. especially at the end where you get to be chaos.

indeed a very exiting game. for those who havent played it and dont want to i definately recomend it. great game.

But this is just my opinion so if you dont want to pick this game up, thats cool.

I just bought it a couple of days ago, and am on Shinra's Dark Secret. This game is pretty awesome. I can see how it pisses off ff fans though. We are used to turn-taking rpg battle system and this fast paced shooting game comes out. Well I really like it. It's pretty easy, though. since I'm down in deepground hq right now. I think the game would be really hard if you didn't know how to time using your limit breakers and such. The one mission with Cait Sith was annoying, because you can only do about 5 damage. It's a stealth mission, though. Where is Red 13? Did he just disappear? wow, this is a pretty long post, but anyway. I give the game a 9 out of 10. It's pretty long, unlike many games theese days. The gameplay is great and unique. The story and backround is a little too dark. Even in the assault on Midgar, when it was supposed to be daytime, it was dark. That's my take on it. Peace out.

hi ..... i just got the game on friday last as it was released here in new zealand .... your question has me thinking ..... ...... when he changes with limit breaks you can control him .... but not sure about "chaos" ..... ..... The gene hidden inside him.

the two are different. One is Gallion beast and the other is Chaos. You can control him at the end, at least that's what I've been hearing.

I got this game the day it came out I was so excited. I had never played a shooter game before so i didn't know how I was going to like it but it ws so great I beat it in five days I can remember staying up all night the first night playing it. I loved it, it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I am very disapointed though I wish I had gotten better reviews than it did. Maybe then more people would have been encouraged to pick it up. Also I wish there were more playable characters in it.

Yeah, I can't believe that the only mission as a different character is a small stealth mission as Cait Sith. First of all, I hate Cait Sith. Second of all, Where is Red XIII? Third, you don't get to fight alongside Cloud. that is dissappointing. You should AT LEAST be able to play as Barret, he has a gun, so it won't be that different. The game itself is awesome, 9/10, but the extra features are hard to get, and you should have extra missions as different characters.

Vince is cool, undoubtibly, but it would be nice to play as maybe.. cloud, or barret, or somebody else that is cool for at least one or two missions. Vince's story get's real boring after a while, it's too dark. That's just me, so I'll shut up and continue playing ffxi online.
