Earthbound 2?

Does anyone know if they will ever make an Earthbound 2? If there was ever a sequal that deserved to be made it was earthbound.

No, they won't be making a sequel unfortunately. Actually, they made this game once for NES and remade it for SNES, so if you want you can try playing the nes version. It's really weird, I tried it but didn't really like it so I gave up after a few minutes.

Um....the game we bot was an Earthbound 2. Allow me to explain (I'm assumming you might know, but I will post this to avoid all confusion).

There once was a game in Japan for NES called "Mother." "Mother" never came to America, and never will.

There once was a game for the SNES called "Mother 2". It DID come to America and to avoid confusion as to where the first one went, they changed the title altogether to "Earthbound".

There once was a game called "Mother 64." It was cancelled and will never be made since it was for 64 (didn't make Japan either).

There is now a game called "Mother 3" for GBA in Japan and I doubt it will come to America.

You could play the imports of the other two games. Just keep in mind, you have only played the second.
