Silent Hill - Forgotten Past

Reilly was sitting in the passenger side of the black getta. All of the sudden Reillys cell-phone started to emit a loud high-pitched shrill. Richard looked over
"Dude, why do you keep that thing i mean it's broken anyway?" "You know that it still works right? I just don't know whats up with it all of the sudden..."

After driving for a while they hit a wall of thick fog. "Arrgh i can't se.." Richard hit the side of a building and the airbag deployed jeking Reilly wildly. "Hey!, man what the hell happend?!?" Richard got out and looked at his car. "Ahhh man i just got this peice of crap!". Reilly still confused got out and tried to open the door of the building they hit. The door was welded shut. "Umm i think were stuck here." Richard said sounding annoyed.

Reilly looked down at his cell phone still buzzing loudly.

Richard was Angry and the sound of the phone irritated him more "Turn that damn thing off already its giving me a bigger headache" " It is off i even took the battery out" replyed reilly " Thats really weird" Reilly turn to look at the damage done to the car "Hey! i starting to go away" Richard said then reilly pointed it towards the door again and began to buzz loudly again.

Reilly almost looked scared as the phone buzzed while pointing at the door.
"There must be like some satalite in there or something. Well the door is welded anyway so.." Richard yelled almost exidedly "Hey there is another way to get im here!" Richard pointed to a celler type door. "Umm man are you sure you wanna go down there?" Richard was already down the hole. Reilly went on and climbed down.

Upon going into the celler the phone got louder. Richard sat staring at the wall. "Hey man? you ok there?" Reilly shook Richard. "u...uh..lo.lo.look!" Richard pointed to what looked like a human but it wasn't. It was like a doll but the size of a person. It was all sticthed together and bloody its face was mutalater and looked like it was smashed together.

Richard got out his pocket knife and looked at the monster...

At roughly 3:30pm Norman woke from his bed, nacho's crumbled in between his sheets as he held his controller to his Console in which his game from last night was still there but his character had died. He moved over to the otherside and slapped his cat with a huge hiss the cat scretched and jump away waking him up. He rose his torso and rubbed his eyes to see properly then moved his feet around to the floor and accidently knocked over a half drunken bottle of coke. He then grumbled and quickly picked it up and chuged back little of what was left then lifted it up high and aimed for the bin but missed. This bin was full of failed attempts at writing his novel he had started as he had writers block at that point in time. He then walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge and grabbed some milk then walked to the cupboard to grab some cereal and a bowl.

As he placed them onto the table he then pulled out a chair only to find the cat had gotten comfortable on it so he then pushed it off and sat down. He then poured his cereal into his bowel 'This doesn't look that good, oh well I am hungry' and then poured some milk into it. He realised he forgot his spoon so he got up and quickly grabbed one only to see the cat jump back up, he then pushed it off and quickly sat down and dug his spoon into the cereal.

"Bahh this is off"

"Meowwww"

"Well I am hungry too, I'll get us some food down at the shop"

He then then got up and before he could push the chair back in the cat quickly jumped up on to it. He shook his head then walked outside to chuck it out onto the lawn and went inside and placed the bowl in the sink which was already cluttered enough. Walking into the mess he called his room he grabbed a pair of navy jeans and pulled them up and struggled to do up his belt but eventually got it. Then he went into his closet and saw a purple hoodie and his black jacket, 'Jacket's the best bet' and put it on.

He walked outside to see the sun glaring his face as he moved his hand to shade his face. He walked out the door and locked it then out the door and onto the footpath where he saw kids down the road playing around. He strolled quite briskly down the path till he got to the corner then heard those kids yelling out smug remarks but he wasn't concerned 1 bit. Eventually he got to the store and saw a new lady. Confused but not worrying he looked over to the stand and grabbed a newspaper and took it up to her.

"The tears of time have finally caught up to you child"

"What do you mean?"

"You are Laura's brother right? She couldn't handle the suffering and misery of the truth"

"What the Hell? You know absolutely nothing about her reasons!"

"Don't I? Perhaps you should seek out what really happened to her"

"You're crazy!"

"Remember Silent Hill? Met me there if you want to know the truth young one"

"Ok then, I will"

He then quickly grabbed the newspaper and started to briskly walk which slowly turned into a jog, as he ran away he looked back to see her grinning then *Thud* he slammed right into a pole which knocked him unconscious.

When he woke up he found himself half wet lying on a wharf, his clothes were only slightly damp but not enough to reach his skin, and he hair was wet which slowly dripped on his face. When he looked around he noticed that it was real foggy to see anything ahead of him. He then got to his feet and started to walk down the wharf to the footpath, he looked up and saw that there was not a single noise, everything was quiet as though it was a ghost town, he was surprised to not even hair the water move. He walked forward along the footpath and he saw a blue car with the keys still hanging from the boot. Grabbing the keys he read on the label:

Denise Mason
Chrichton Street Apartments
Room 202

Norman then placed the keys in his pockets and thought he would go check it out. As he begun to walk he saw in front of him was a bent over and the top pole was barely hanging on. In front of the pole he saw a trail of blood so he ripped off the pole and walked into the fog and began to follow the trail. As he slowly got closer to it he heard and grotesque mumble and he moved towards it to see there was what looked to be a small horse the size of a dog with its skin ripped apart and blood its guts hanging from underneath, it looked as though the blood from its wound's had dried up but it was starting to drip out.

He watched as the beast was sniffing the ground looking for food. 'What the hell is this? That's disgusting, I wonder what happened to it'. He slowly approached it not wanting to catch its attention. He crept into the distance away from it but accidently kicked a can alerting the horse of where he was. The Horse then Gurggled and turned around to face him and chased towards him. Norman lifted the pipe as though he was playing baseball and waiting to the horse came and that slammed it into it's face knocking it down. He then Whacked behind it's neck and quickly again into it's gut. One last gurgle came out then it stopped breathing and he could hair the wind blowing.

'That was close' Norman was panting and placed his hands on his knee's as he struggled to catch his breath. Once he caught it he slowly made his way across the road to a small old building. He went up to the windows to see if anybody was there but all he saw was a brief Shadow. He went over to the door and saw the door was unlocked so he opened it a little bit to if there was anybody.

"Anybody in there?"

"Hello? Guess not..."

Sqeaking he opened the door a more and walked in slowly silently closing the door behind him. He looked around to see the room was old and tattered, just a few boxers in the corner with a large chair in the middle and a coffee table in the middle with a vase with a black rose and a note under it. On the other side was a TV but it looked like it didn't work. The wall paper was peeling off and on the inside of the door their was a lot off blood but it looked like it had been there for a while. He turned around looking across the room the sat down on the chair and sat there trying to understand where he was.

Upon sitting down he look at the rose and saw and envelope sitting underneath it, it was and old brownish letter with a red seal melted to close it. He flipped it around to see writen on it so he pealed off the seal to reveal the writing inside. He stared at the writing and look to the bottom to see if it had a signature but no such luck, it read:

"The darkness has prevented me from seeing the light
I have been driven to a feeling of despair and depression
the fear has driven me insane, it consumes every waking minute
the end is drawing near."

'Could this be from Laura? It doesn't look like her writing but it sounds like something she would say' he sat there for a minute thinking, wondering where he was and what the hell was going on. 'Well I can't waste time sitting around' he stood up and placed the letter in his pocket. He looked over to the boxes and saw a med-kit inside so he grabbed it figuring he may need it later on. He walked back and grabbed the handle of the door and suddenly he had an image of Laura still alive but her head half cut off and he slowly turned the handle to open the door then he walked outside.

Going outside he saw it was still really foggy and couldn't see that far into the distance. From not to far off he heard a scraping sound, clenching the pipe he walked over to see what is was. He saw what looked like to sets off legs connecting to each other like an animal, in the middle was a torso with no arms and what looked like breasts on each side and a huge hole like the top of a funnel. 'What is that? Did some scientists do this?' he attempted to tip toe around it but in a gimpy stance it moved towards him and sprayed what seemed to be some sort of gas.

Almost falling backwards he lifted his arm to cover his face and swung at its funnel pushing it back, he moved foward and whacked it again knocking it over 'Is it dead?' he kicked it once more and it let out a dying groan. 'What the hell is going on? This place is unlike anything I have seen before. He continued to walk down the path, he saw another 1 in the middle of the road but he carefully made his way through without alerting it of his presence.

The monster continuted eating then all of the sudden it stopped turned its head and started to stare at reilly and richard. Then it got up from the floor
and its started to walk towards us moaning and groaning. When it stood up its was bigger than it looked in front of reilly was a pistol he quickly grabed and began to pump bullets in the disgusting looking creture but than didnt put it down. It got closer and closer to reilly than it grabed him and through his against the wall *SMACK* but he only hit the wall hard enough to knock the wind out of him. There was a crowbar laying up against a stack of boxes reilly shot it in its hind legs causing to collapse to the floor with a loud thud
Richard quickly grasped the crowbar lifted it above his head then swung down
And stab it in the head with the crowbar. Shooting out chunks of blood and brain then richard turned the crowbar on its side and hit the creture once more after the last hit it it started to gush more blood onto the floor

Reilly got up from the floor and saw the pulsing monster laying in front of him. He noticed that his phone was no longer buzzing.

"Hey what the hell!, was that thing?!"
Richard said puzzled "Umm i have no idea but i think it's dead"

The handgun Reilly used still had a few rounds in it.

"So what now i still can't get over that..that thing. Also i'm thinking that that monster like thing was making my cell-phone buzz."

Richard replied "Yeah i'm starting to think that to, maby all electronics buzz here. Hey i have a portable radio in the car maby that will buzz to?"

Richard got the radio from the ruins of his car and started to walk up and down the street trying to get it to buzz.

"Umm ya know if it buzzes that could mean there is another one of those thi.."

Just as Reilly said that both the radio and the cell-phone buzzed. Richard looked around carefully. Reilly held up the gun and hid behind the car.

"Man!, i don't wanna see anotehr one of those things!"

"Well i dunno maby we will." Richard said with a quever in his voice.

A monster came up right behind Reilly and he took off running past Richard.

"Run Dude!"

After running for a while Reilly noticed he was no longer with Richard...

*THUD* the creture tackled Richard to the ground and tryed to bite a chunk out of his neck. Richard grab the creture by the neck holding it back and he raised the crowbar and hit it viciously then he swung even harder *SPLAT*.
He pushed the creture off of him got up and continued to hit it in the head.
Finally it was dead and Richard was soaked in blood and a little bit of brain
Reilly couldnt see him and ran towards him direction then richard appeared out of the thickness of the fog " Whoa! are you ok" said reilly Noticing the blood all over him " Yea im fine" Replyed richard "By the way you have a little bit of brain on your lip" said reilly richard wiped it clean then threw up on the pavement " THATS DISGUSTING!"

Reilly started to gag. "Excuse me i have to.. Ughhh"
Reilly Almost threw up but made himself stop. "Ok i have had enough let's just leave this town and walk to the nearest one."

Reilly started to walk out the exit of the town but stopped before almost falling off a cliff.

"What the hell theres no more road?"

"Woah! how did that happen it wasn't like that before?" Richard looked down the cliff. "No way ro get down i'm sure."

"Ok i'm gonna go try to find a working phone or something. You should try to find somebody to help with the car."

"Wait what..?" Richard exclaimed.

Reilly yelled "If anything happends meet me back at the car!"

Reilly walked down the street hoping to not run into one of the monsters again. The fog was so thick that you could barely see a foot infront of you.
A sign said "Railroad station pay-phone ahead*

"Well if that isn't specific.."

Reilly walked onto the tracks and into the phone booth.

"Crap i don't have any change well 911's free right?"

Reilly dialed the emergency number listings in the phone books but this phone didn't work either. Reilly set down the phone and jumped when a large railroad bar smacked against the booth. The bar was sticking out of what looked like a persons neck. It's body was messed up and its legs were like snubs it was walking with its hands and it was trying to smash through the glass with the track.

Reilly got out and ran about ten feet away and started to fire shots at the crawling thing. It just shreaked each time a bullet hit it but kepped coming.
Finally it dropped to the ground.

"WHAT THE HELL!?!"

He inspected the body but he turned his head to find about five of them circling him.

"Whats that noise" *BANG*....*BANG*. Richard began to panic and ran towards where reilly was headed the gunshots continued but before richard could make it any farther he was sweept off him feetby another one of those things but this time he was prepared he through it off of him and stomped on its head until it was squished into the ground.

Then Richard took a good look at its body.It looked different it was just a torso with spider legs coming out of its stomach thats how it walked

It looked almost as bad as the monster richard had saw earlyer he continued to run to reilly.

Reilly sighed and looked over as Richard ran over the railroad tracks.

"Hey!, your to late this umm.. cop? saved me."

"You!, do you know how to get out of here?"

"No i ended up here just like you and i have no idea how to leave.Well either way her is some ammo for that gun of yours, im gonna go try to find a police station with a radio system."

"Hey wait..."

Richard looked over well im gonna go look around some more."

"Ok..." Reilly said in an anoyed voice

Reilly started to try and follow the cop..

The doors to the entrance of the Railroad station were wielded shut "how could this happen the entrance doors were unlocked not even 10 minutes ago and we didnt even hear it" now that the doors were shut the Station was
surrounded by darkness Richard reached into his pocket and pulled out his pocket flashlight and put it in his left jacket pocket then fliped the switch *click* "Thats better" the flashlight beam revealed a giant hole were reilly stood to use the phones i aimed my flashlight down the hole and i looked like it went down far "if i had a choice i wouldnt jump down this hole but there seems to no way out from here" Richard held the crowbar tight then jumped

Reilly walked around the streets hoping he could find that police guy.
After walking for what seemed like hours Reilly finally found the entrance to S.H.P.D.

"Well i guess this is it... they might atleast have a better gun in here."

The door opened with an eerie creak that almost made Reilly jump.
The inside was almost normal with no rust, blood or monsters. Something still smelled rancid though, almost like a dead body. Reilly turned around a corner and feel to the ground holding his nose and keeping from throwing up.

"uhh i guess he didn't make it..uhh"

The police man had been eaten and ripped to shreads.

"This was most likely one of those..things."

Reilly tried to stop looking over at the mangled corpse as he searched for ammo. Opening a locker he found the best thing he had seen so far, a shotgun. There was alot of ammo in a side pocket in the locker and there was initials G.B on the side. Reilly went to leave and open the door and jumped to find two more of those monsters...
