9,999 damage possible?

Is it even possible in this game with Yuna, Rikku, or Paine when they're not in their ultimate dresspheres. Even if you're level 99 I don't see that happening. If it's possible I need to know how.

Yes, it is easily possible if you have a Dark Knight with the Iron Duke accessory equipped. Or a Cat Nip accessory, and a character with low HP.

Lawl, no.. The Cat Nip is BEST used with the Gunner. But, it makes the game a brease if you do...

Equip Cat Nip to someone and make their class a Gunner.

Get them down to low health by smacking them a few (Until their health is yellow)

And then use the Multiple Shot Skill..(Forget what it's called, I beat FFX-2, and then gave up on it.)

Keep pressing R1 (I think it was anyways) as fast as you can, you'll get probably about 8 or so shots off, each doing 9,999 damage.

Of course, its not difficult to deal 9999 damage, simply equip a tough Dressphere(Warrior, Dark Knight, Gunner etc) and if your party have high stats and stuff. Accessories will make it easier too.

Mk I've heard of Cat Nip. I'll have to try to get that. But it's not possible to hit 9,999 with characters leveled up to level 99 even with some accesories? I liked how in previous final fantasies you could hit 9,999 just by being that level practically and maybe having a decent weapon. There has to be a way to do it besides Cat Nip or extremely good accessories right?

Not that I know of. I never bothered to get my characters to 99...The game pushed me too far away.

Cat Nip is easiest to get, and its great with a gunner and.... Rappid Fire I think.... I can't remember if thats it....

There this accessories where you can do 9,999 points everytime!!!! Very Good when fighting the final boss!!!! I forgot where to get it though...sorry

It's possible to do 9999 dmg but you need to remove a chara from battle with it. Use CHARON (Drk Knight) with a high~ish HP and you'll get high damage. I think your trying to beat Black Elemental, aren't you?

the cat nip accessory is one o the best waqys to ensure of getting 9999 damage i will explain a good way to do about 100,000 damage each turn


1) get a character to yellow hp (low HP)
2) get the cat nip accessory defeat black elemental i think
3) equip cat nip on charcter with low hp
4) also equip garment grid the chocobo one that makes you strike first
5) also you could equip running shoes to have auto haste
6) equip the gunner dressphere
7) get in battle with enemy or boss
8) when the gunner with the cat nip takes a action choes trigger happy and keep pressing r1 to do 9999 each shot
repeat this about 9 times to kill the hardest boss trema


also you could equip the accessory grand duke or something like that i forgotten the name it raises all stats to 100 execpt agilty and luck double hp and mp good accessory.
Equip 2 on each character to maxiumise stats
though you have to complete the bevelle 100 floor dungeon 6 times or you could use a cheat device.

with that equip either equip the dark night uniform and use dark sky to do good damage or you could equip a characters special dressphere and do there special attack as well.

Catnip is the way to success in Via Infinito, and is best used for a Gunner. Just do what the others told you to do, and use Trigger Happy. You'll be done in no time.

You can get The iron clad acsseray that you get from Trama but you have to go far to get it!!!
