Methods used to get NES cartridges to work?

Okay so many of us have played the 8-bit nintendo, and as anyone who has played the 8-bit knows games only work about 25% of the time. So my question is what are some of the techniques that you use to get your cartride to work?

Many people shake their cartrides or blow inside both the NES and the cartride. I myself but the cartridge in my shirt before I blow in the cartridge. That way I have a type of filter to blow through. I swear it works! So my question is what else do you guys do?

I never shake mine as it could probably move something inside leading even worse damage, but I usually do the "blowing" inside the Cartridge trick, its probably the best way of getting those old games working.

Other than "blowing" we tried the reset mutilple times as well as ejecting and trying again.
