Thunder plain boss 2

Since i can't find the damn help thread i'll just post it here,

i've defeated all this fiends at the thunder towers. But there's still one giant boss to beat and i can't beat him and i'm in lvl 50, 51, 52. Does anyone have a strategy or something?

R u talking about behemoth, hes easy to defeat, have rikku equip alchemist sphere to heal people, the other 2 are your desision they all work, try and use dispel on behemoth to undo that mighty guard he casts upon himself, it can slow the battle if u leave it on him. i had paine as main attack, and yuna on support, and the battle way pretty easy.

Well, you must be talking about Behemoth King, or something like that. Well, your characters have enough levels. Maybe it's your battle technic that is wrong. When I beat him, I equipped Yuna with Gun Mage Dressphere, Rikku with Lady Luck dressphere and Paine with Berserker Dressphere. I also equipped Yuna with a Garmend Grid, that let her use White Magic Abilities. Yuna knew some very taugh abilities, like Fire Breath, and I had Rikku use Dice, all the time. If you do the same, I don't see a reason why you should lose.

But, pay attention to this. If I'm not mistaken, Behemoth King, will cast Meteor, after you kill him, so make sure that you have enough HP to survive it. Oh, and I also taught Yuna, Mighty Guard, so that made my battles a lot easier.

I did really do much to fight him, at first i could beat him cause my they were all to low levels to beat him but since you in your 50's he should be easy. I had Rikku as white mage then changed her to samurai using fireworks, Paine as berserker (i think) and yuna as lady luck. Start by casting reflect, protect and shell on everyone. If he uses mighty gurad just dispel it. After that i just when all out and changed rikku to samurai. When i got low of heal i just used mega and hi potions. It was a bit easy but be sure you have lots of health when you kill it cause it uses meator when it dies.

Yes i think it's my technic, i use strenght and power only. I have Yuna - gunner, Rikku - thief, Pain - warrior. But i won't change dresspheres i'll only use the originals

yeah i read that if you use onle the originals the you unlock a secreat dressphere called healer not sure thats but then again i never tryed it

Of course i've tryed a battle or two with the other spears too, but i want the healer dressphere.

Ok, I found really good techniques to kill Humbaba aka Behemoth King. [forgive spelling mistakes] First, equip Yuna with either Dark Knight, Gunner, or Alchemist. [Best would be Alchemist] Then equip Rikku and Paine with Dark Knight or Gunner if you learned Trigger Happy lvl 3. Also, equip the Garment Grid, Unerring Path as a last resort if you need to transform into the special dresspheres if everything else didn't work.

Start off the battle by using a chocobo Wing on the entire party to hasten up their turn of attacks. Have Paine and Rikku use Trigger Happy lvl 3, Darkness, or Black Sky against the Humbaba every turn while you use Yuna to Mix 1 potion, with 1 hi-potion to use Mega Potion on the entire party. Repeat the process 2-4 times and he should be dead. After all, he only has arround 27,000+ HP. If all else didn't work, have Yuna use her Special Dressphere to turn into Floral Fallal and use Great Whirl to wreak Havoc on the Humbaba and the other parts to use Left and Right Pistil. Same goes for Rikku and Paine if Yuna dies. If you fail to defeat it with this last resort, then I dunno what else to say. ^ ^';; Hope it helps

He was a tough pickle..I forgot how i beat it..or him i don't know that beast...Oh yeah I used dark knights, alchimist and a black mage.. Try using that!!!

The behemoth at the last tower rod? Yeah, he is pretty hard. The thing you have to do is learn the 'assault' ability for Paine's 'warrior' garment vid. Then equip Yuna in a healing mage outfit. Next, put Riku in her highest form she has.xD

Also, you have to train a little more if you don't want to take too long on it. It's easier at level sixty-five, trust me.

Whew, thats a lot of running. I was having a marathon and now in the computer again!

Well, the best way is to have a high level, thats one of the most suggested things to defeat him, errrrrrrr it. Actually, its not that hard if you have a high level so far. You can have yourself levelled up to beat him, that's a win-win solution man!
