A brief conversation with Cesar not too long ago reminded me that I still needed to create this thread. I was playing some Old Skool SNES RPGs the other day and decided to give Lufia and the Fortress of Doom a whirl. About an hour into the game, there was a moment that just made me stop playing so I could laugh at the lameness within. Seriously, what were they thinking when they placed this in the game? (Note: The spot where the Gades speaks twice in a row contains a battle in between with the Hero and Gades in which Gades pwns the Hero) Hero: Why? Why did you destroy so many? Gades: I need no reason! My mission is destruction. No more, no less. Hero: Destruction? Do you think you can get away with such an evil deed? Gades: Puny knight! I AM EVIL! Hero: E....Evil!? Gades: I am Gades! Sinistral of Destruction!! Gades: You. Woman. You! Lufia: What? Stay away from me! I won't let you take Hero! Gades: ............ Lufia: Go away! Leave us alone!! Gades: So be it! Farewell, woman. Until the next time! --------------- ROTFLMAO!!!!11!one!

3,006  | That is very special, psiko. I'm pretty sure I played that game, but I don't remember that part. Anyhoo... Here's one I can think of, from Bionic Commando: "This building will explod in 90 seconds." Typing error! I remember in FF6 too, when Terra was reacting to the esper in Narshe for the second time, just before she goes flying off, Edgar says something like: "Terra... step away from the esper..." What, is he a policeman all of a sudden, or something? I always thought that line was pretty lame. Who can forget the first boss battle in FF4, against he myst dragon? "No hit when mist! Hit when solid!" or whatever?  Anyhoo, maybe I'll think of more later. Wuv, Yer Mom

3,101 | I always loved the quote Kefka randomly said in Final Fantasy VI. "Son of a Submariner!" I was confused when I first heard that, I thought it was really funny though. I suppose they couldn't put swearing in the game!  I think I could name a few quotes from Final Fantasy VI that I found rather humerous. VI had the best ones in my opinion, some of the things said in there were very random. Sabin: Kefka! Wait! Kefka: Wait he says! Do I look like a waiter? Welcome to my barbeque! Kefka (torching Figaro), Final Fantasy VI Then there's those quotes by Ultros.. Uwee hee hee... Game over! Don't tease the octopus, kids! Yaaooouch! Seafood soup! | ||||||||

63 | This one in final fantasy ix made me laugh: Zidane-"come on everyone!" everyone climbs on the airship,dagger slips,she is infront of zidane: Zidane-"ohhh,soft." Yep that was funny. And of course: kefka:ahem there's sand on my boots!
