i am getting a bit fed up now with the constant things in these games now like:
final fantasy 12 has the

i mean come on every final fantasy games since ff4 has got some one trying to take over the world (with a few exeptions)

i mean come on get a new stroy line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what with the plot at the beggining being thrown away

Spoiler: like most games where the party thinks a group/organisation/empire ect is doing all the "bad things" but later find out its some one else

i think that if square enix wants the more people buying their games then they need to change the wole story lines to a new a vibrant ones.

Are you complaining? I dont think FFXII will be ANYTHING like FFVI or any other previous titles as it has a completely new storyline with new characters and a brand spanking new ability learning system, anyone else's opinions on this persons thread?

i am not complaining in fact i am looking foraward to getting this game (if it ever does in the uk) all i am saying is that popularity with the series is geting lower than what it was and all i am saying is that if square enix want more peole to buy ff games they need to do a new approach.a whole new advertising campaing is good but more is needed.

I disagree. Each new Final Fantasy game attracts millions of gamers all over the world each time a new one is released so I dont think Square-Enix should change what they are doing at the moment although FFXIII looks extremely different to other FF games, hmmm....

FFXII seems to deal with more real life issues of an empire and the politics and stories within. I think the story will be similar to that of FFT, as in more political and filled with unexpected plot twists and backstabbings. The story will definitely be different than FFX's whole false religion story.

I dont think FFXII is going to be the same as the others. I mean sure they have kind of the same storyline but everyone wants a happy ending or at least the chance to get one.
Im looking forward to it being released in the U.S in (what is it?) October 31st now?
Although I have a question, does anyone know if the fight style is going to be anything like FFX-2?

Dont complain yet because first of all you dont have the game yet, so you dont absolutely know that its a similar plot. Second of all Taking over the world is VERY general plot that can be played in thousands of different ways. Aliens can enslave humanity or Russia can use its military to conquer the world and so on... Third of all are you going to complain about the magic and moves that have been the same only slightly different in all the FF games? Also a lot horror movies have a plot where people that are being murdered by someone or something, are all those horror movies the same?

Calm down and wait untill you actually play the game ok... I promise you, your going to love FFXII and its plot.

Well, part of Final Fantasy's charm are the recurring themes and the nostalgia. And even though the games of the series have some similarities, they are still all radically different from each other, and I doubt FF XII is any different.

Just like every other FF, it will feel awfully familiar, yet brand new, and that's what I love about the series.

Final Fantasy XII is solely political. Final Fantasy VI ws not. Trust me this will be the mosr mature Final Fantasy game ever.
