Let's talk about people that are in/have a band. I belong to a highschool band solely. I do play guitar, but am not very good......yet. I hope to become a Band Teacher or maybe a Composer. I played guitar in my high school band all 4 years.
I didn't really take it to seriously... unless i was challenged.
but i was good enough not to get kicked out.

I loved it when people would challenge me for my seat.

I'm in a Death Metal band called "Deified"... I've become rediculously fast on the guitar so Death Metal seemed a natural choice... old-school thrash being a close second XD.

I was also in my school Choir in 4-7th grade... and colorguard. You have no idea how many chicks I got in colorguard XD.

I am in a Death Metal band with some friends, and I'm also in a grindcore band. Then there is my electro noise project, of which I am the sole member. And I am trying out for a Hardcore band sometime next week.

I play trumpet..well not so much really as i played it last year in 7th grade..but now im homeschooled and i focus a little bit more on my bass guitar...but im much better at trumpet..(i really dont squat on meh bass guitar) >_> i rilly need to take some lessons..>_<

from 6th-12th grades i was in band.
from 6th-10th grades i played clarinet in concerts. and the last two years I alternated with Alto Sax ( also dabbled in soprano sax )
I marched all 4 years of HS with my clar ( and was a Rank Leader Sr Year to boot! )
One of mt two Letters in HS was in Band XD

I am currently in my high school band as well, I play the trumpet, and I don't like it that much. I don't really like marching in parades because some of my friends don't respect band memebers like they should, but screw them, lol For the past year and a half I've been trying to convince my band director to let me switch from playing trumpet to playing percussion, but he won't let me, he won't even give me a chance, because my band director is an uber moron.
