Zeromus in FFXII!

I hear tell of Zeromus being a summon in FFXII.

In an Official Playstation Magazine (March 2006, Issue 107), it shows some of FFXII's summons, and Zeromus is one. His appearance matches the creature in the video. He also supposedly still has the Big Bang attack.

Thats really awesome....although i don't quite understand the motive of inserting him as a summon....

I can just picture the bosses of past FFs as secret summons in FFXII....maybe Sephiroth too....

Will they use more enemies/bosses as summons...?

Well that thing dosn't look like Zeromus but it is still a cool idea usin a boss fr a summon. I think they should make SIN a summon lol.

i think that incorporating something into a final fantasy from another one other than weapons seems wrong (xi expansions and x-2 are exceptions)

Well...
I can't say I was expecting that.

They redesigned Zeromus to make him more appropriate to his designation as the zodiac esper 'Cancer.' He now has a massive claw, and what appears to be a giant clam on his back.

He does still have his Big Bang attack which, as expected, doles out ludicrous sums of damage. Some major differences though, is that he primarily uses Gravity magic and floats around.

As a FFIV purist, I deem this Zeromus to be an imposter!

*Throws FFXII Zeromus and Zeromus EG into a trashcan labelled 'Clearly NOT Zeromus'*

Chill fanboy! At least Zeromus has a cool backstory in XII that he never had in IV.

Not only is Zeromus the only boss of previous FF's used as a summon in FF12, but I've heard that the summon, Exodus, hints a little towards FFV. (although not precisely.)

Chaos is the boss of FF1.
Ultima is the properly translated Altima, boss of FFT. (But uses the FFTA character model.)

yea, i was checking out a website call www.ffcompemdium. com, and it shows a pic of zeromus as a summon! i think he looks pretty cool!! im gonna be gettin the game soon, so i cant wait to see wat he can do in battle! it says on the website that he can do his big bang attack also.
