Summon:Alexander

I didnt know where can I find Alexander. I was in Great Glacier 100times but I dont found him. Anybody knows where he is? Thanks

If I remember correctly (which I may not), you'll want to do the following:

Make sure you touch the hot springs. This is absolutely essential. Also make sure that this is your first trip there. I think that has a big part of everything.

Wait until you pass out.

Go outside from Holzoff's.

Go to great glacier and make a right.

Stop as soon as the wind picks up and continue going to the right.

Keep going until you see some cliffs.

Keep going right until you see three paths open up. Take the upper right hand path.

Keep going up and head towards a cave in the upper right hand corner.

You'll fight this oly lady who goes crazy because you touched the hot springs. Beat her up and Alexander is yours. After that, you can just go and pass out again to return to Holzoff, at which point you keep going north.

Yes. And it is also in ff8! There has beautiful effect (audio-visual)

A lot of the summons/GF's/ espers/ eidolons are based on mythology and are usually elemental based, like Ifrit and Shiva for example. I think they've been in almost every FF that has had the summon ability. Plus if they continually looked for new mythical beasts, they'd eventually run out. What they usually do is take a few of the classics, like Ifrit and Shiva, give them updated looks and then throw in a whole bunch of new summons.

Anyways, how did finding Alexander work out for ya?

Thats I need to talk: What and where are "hot springs" ? I was in that cave there was she, but I didnt fight her. She simply said: "Go out, dont worry about me". I think that was that lady you said. So, where are that hot springs?

I believe their in an area thats on either the middle or furthest east path that leads to the open snow fields (the huge expanse of snow that you have to use markers on to keep track of your progress). It's kind of difficult to get to, but it is possible if you come from the direction of the ice witches caverns.

also when you get to the hot springs dont forget to touch the water otherwise the lady still wont fight you

Never mind. I already found him. Thank Flane for your help. You know, I am not speaking English well and I didnt translate "hot springs" so, I didnt know, what is it. But now, because of you I have found him.
