Atma weapon?

Played the game twice and I can never find the Atma weapon, where is it, How do you get it?

Is it really the most powerfulest weapon?

You can get Atma Weapon from Cave to the Sealed cavern...here...it is from walkthrought from FFOnline...

To the Sealed Gate

You get to control the airship here. Fly to Narshe. Remember the
locked treasure chest? Go to that house and follow Lone Wolf to where
the Esper is (at the cliff). He will grab a Moogle to use as a hostage.
When he tells you not to step forward, stand still. Mog wrestles free,
but both will almost fall of the cliff. You only have time to save one.
If you save Mog, he joins your party (kupo)! If you save Lone Wolf, you
get a Gold Hairpin, which cuts in half the magic needed for the wearer
to cast spells. I STRONGLY suggest taking Mog. You may want to fight
with him in forests, plains, and other backgrounds until he learns his
dances. See the "A Few Tips and Secrets" section for info on getting
the Water Rondo dance.

When you're ready, fly to the Imperial Base. Nobody will be there.
Don't bother searching the building as everything inside is locked up
right now. Exit on the right side. Save here before you do anything else.
Go across the bridge and to the cave. You'll find a valuable treasure at
the beginning, so take it. When you reach the room with moving bridges,
make your way to the treasure chest on the little island. It holds the
Coin Toss, which lets Setzer kill the enemy with money. Follow the route,
and, when you pull a switch that makes you hear a distant sound,
backtrack to reach a treasure chest. After fighting a Ninja (when you
pull a switch), head right and down, then hold A and walk around on
the bluff. You'll find many hidden treasures here; apparently they are
the 'prize under the staircase' that he is talking about. When you reach
the area with 2 switches on the floor, DON'T step on either of them.
Instead, pass the first one, then go up the right bridge. Pull the
switch in the chest, and go downstairs, then down again. Go to your left
to the little raised piece of ground, and step on the switch. It will
open a cave with the VERY valuable Atma Weapon in it. Equip it on Terra
only if she has a rather high HP count at this point. Keep going to the
right, until you eventually reach the Sealed Gate. Hit Kefka once, and
enjoy the show! When it's over, exit the cave through the new passage
that is created. You should be able to easily reach the airship.

And no, it isn't strongest weapon is game... Illumina and Ragnarok are strongest weapons...

Illumina? Where do you get that?

You get Illumina when you change Ragnarok sword in Colosseum in WoR. And Raganarok you can get from Narshe after you have get Locke in your team. This happens also in WoR. (WoR ~ World of Ruin)

Strongest as in stats-wise, or strongest as in how much damage it deals out? Because if your character has a lot of HP, the Atma Weapon will do quad-9's every time, whereas the Illumina or Ragnorok will do less (although I don't remember how much less they did; been a while since I've played that game with any characters' levels that high). Anyhoo...

if u have 9999hp then atma weapon will most likely do 9000-9999 damage

When you get Atma Weapon it is strongest weapon. But if you are playing 'normally' and you aren't going to get characters to lvl 99 you don't need much about Atma Weapon. Yes, you can use Atma Weapon in WoR but there is more powerful weapon that make same damage even your HP would be down...like Illumina...

Well i just started a new game the other day and i'm in world of ruin now, i managed to keep atma weapon. Now there was a trick with this weapon i forgot to do before, ut if u have Shadow in your party at the final battle with the fight agaisnt kefka. If you throw atma weapon at him, it brings up a text box saying "Too much damage to count" And kefka dies atoumatically

That was only ever a rumor, and one that was proven false quite some time ago.

Well Atma can be stronger than Illumina right. Illumina takes away 7000-9999 for me and Atma weapon takes away 8000-9999 so it depends on ur hp.

atma weapon almost always deals 9999 for me,but i heard there is a second one, is it true because if so i want it.

Yea i think as people have stated, Atma Weapon is ONE of the best, though it's hard to define what's best because it depends on your level, etc. In the earlier titles there weren't any "definite" ultimate weapons like there were in the later ones. Atma Weapon, Ragnarok, and Illumina are really the three best swords in the game. If i had to say one it would be Illumina because of it's stat boosts.

And there are actually two Atma Weapons. Though the second one you steal from the final boss of the game, so it's basically useless. Unless you want to use Shadow and throw it ..and i'm pretty sure that Kefka dying automatic thing is a bad rumor.

yeah, its a bad rumor, ive tested it myself on 3 versions of the game, it doesnt work, period, you cant select Atma weapon as a throw item, even in the final boss battle. as for atma being strong, oh yeah it is, if you have 9999 HP, your not doing less than 9999, i dont care how strong the creature is, and with the genji offering combo, it doesnt suffer from the drawback half attack that the illumina and ragnarok suffer from. id haveta play the game again though, i havent picked it up and seriously played it in years...

Atma Weapon I have to say is definetly one of the best weapons in the game. I equipped it with the Illumina while I had the Genji Glove and Offering equipped. I pretty much made mincemeat out of every enemy.

Here's a one hit KO on Kefka. Go into the final fight with one of the Atma Weapon users at level 99, equip the genji glove and offering. Also have at least 1 atma weapon equipped, when you reach the third part of the statue, you can steal an atma weapon from one of the 2 enemies. Equip it right as you get it. When you reach Kefka, your character will be able to hit Kefka 8 times for 9999 damage. 8x9999=79992 damage! Kefka's 62000hp-79992 damage = 1 hit KO.
