FF1 help

Im in the Marsh Cave... how can i beat these guys guarding the crown? Im lucky to kill 1 of them before they destroy me... im at level 9 btw, do i need to be higher?

Probably, YES. It's not so difficult. I was 10 level when I faced Garland. You are either two low level, or you are not so good. Either way, you have to train. Good luck!

Even at level 10 you should be able to beat them, next time your on, if you haven't done it post yout team.

You should be a higher level though, and have atleast one multi hit balck nagic spell.

so make sure you have the highest weopon and armor and the all the magic so far i had no trouble i believe i was level 15 but if you keep walking through the cave and keep fighting you will level up quickly

Those guys guarding the crown are WEAK against lightning magic. Just make sure you have the best armor because they can hit up to 2x per attack. And they also have pretty good strength. Keep the guy with the most HP at the top of the party and the guy with the lowest HP at the bottom. Heal up completely before stepping onto the space where they are located. Just be sure you know some kind of lightning spell and you will do just fine.
