i'm just asking this coz i no we all av r own view on the world and it wud be interesting to talk about it. so wat do u think of the world we live in? anythin u like or hate about it u tell us all.

my view on the world is that its rubbish, my life is just a complete misery. i mean that life is so mean to me, this world is doing nothin about it. i no i'm only in school and i get bullied but come on people they av to do something about it. it makes my life suck! that is y i hate the world.

Maybe if we didn't all talk in internet ebonics, we'd be much better off. You probably get made fun of because nobody can understand you... or because you're running about claiming to be pure evil, or whatever it is you do, Mr. iamsephiroth.

First off, I'd like to point out that life isn't shit, only an aspect of it is. If you really hate your school so much, just transfer into another school and try and start new. Figure out why and what you're made fun of and try to change those things. I'm guessing you're obsessed with anime and videogames. Not a lot of kids dedicate their time to that stuff. They're out playing sports and being outside. Try joining them instead of cooping yourself in your room all day. Meet some people, and maybe kids will come to see that you're not a dweeb after all.

The world isn't shit. You only perceive it to be so because thats "all you know." You have to look within yourself and ask the questions that you want answers to. Why are you getting bullied? What makes your life so miserable? etc. Chances are, it's normal, and everyone gets picked on in school. Hell, I'm betting you're no older than 15. Your world can't possibly suck that much when the most difficult things in your life revolve around a videogame website and a math test. Take a look at people with real problems. People are getting shot and killed going to work trying to make ends meet and to try and feed their families and provide better lives for their children. Getting made fun of because you're a nerd is not a big deal. The world is not going to end. Jesus H. Christ, go outside right this instant and enjoy some nature. Go look up at the sky, breathe in some fresh air and just thank God that you have the ability to do those things. The world isn't going to wipe your ass for you; you're gonna have to go, man up and do a few things on your own, even if it's standing up to a bully, or just telling a teacher or whatever. I know that telling a teacher will make things worse, but hell, at least let somone know there's a problem. Worse comes to worse, go and take some karate lessons. It'll boost your self esteem and teach you how to fight back.

Anyways, enough of this woe is me bullshit. I love this world; it's the only one we have, so we may as well make the most of it. So what if people are corrupt, don't deal with them. Just find your niche and do what makes you happy, so long as you don't shit on anyone else's parade in the process. You just have to make sure nobody's gonna ruin things for you. Simplest advice is to go and just notice the little things. Stop and smell the flowers for once, and enjoy nature, because it's free and a gift of the earth. I know I sound like some hippie douche, but it's the truth. You can't always get caught up in the hustle and bustle of things, and expect to be happy. Happiness is relaxing outside on a hot summer day, sitting on a lawn chair with some music and a cold drink in your hand. It's a kiss from your girl after a long days work, or having some beer with friends. It's the little things in life that don't cost you anything, but are there from the start; you just have to look for them.

Ah, thank you for that, Pete, although his wording is still a bit confusing, I understand it now.

I'd have to agree with everything Pete said in his first few paragraphs (which weren't the translations of the thread starters' post).

I don't adore the world, but I don't hate it either. I think there are things in the world which I would just love to change. But I can't. So I sit back and enjoy the good things it does have.

I thin both nevfx and iamsephiroth are probably both pretty young, and are experiencing hormones and the hectic'ness of becoming a teenager and going through puberty. Yeah, it sucks, but once that initial phase is over, life isn't crap. I'm not going to say it is or isn't hard, or unfair. Life is unfair and you won't always get what you want. You have to work to be successful, relax and look around to be happy.

Why hate the world? Indulge in the amazing things it has to offer.

I agree with Pete and Chez Daja, they pretty much said it all. iamsephiroth, your post sounds like a cry for help before you attempt suicide. I'm sure there are a million more people out there whose lives suck way more than yours does. You have probably been told that life isn't fair, and really you can't expect anyone to make it fair. If you want see changes in your life you must deal with your problems one at a time. If you need help then ask people who you can rely on, and don't be afraid to do so. A friend once told me that perspective is everything. If the world sucks then it's only because that's how you see it. And if you think all the world sucks then you obviously haven't seen all of it. Man, sometimes I get really depressed and I want to go out and rip people's heads off but there's are some things in this world that counter act those feelings, like my friends. There is a girl at my school who is by far the nicest person I've ever met. She is always smiling and looking on the bright side of things. When I'm around her all my problems just seem to dissipate. You just have to find someone or something that can take your troubles away.

Anyways, moving on. I feel that life is what you make it. Sorry, but if you're going to sit there and cry about how life is unfair and how everything sucks, then you're just not trying hard enough. I've been there, been thinking that it'd be best to just wallow in self pity.

Unless you are part of like 2% of the population, you're not going to get everything handed to you on a platter. Hate your job? Find a new one. Don't have the education? Take classes. There's so many alternatives (including taking corespondance courses via the internet) so there's no excuse.

Hate living with your parents? Move out. Not finacially feaseable? Then thank yourself that you have a roof to live under. Feel like your friends dont' treat you properly? Find new ones. There's almost literally a solution to every problem. Unfortunatly many times people are just to damn lazy or are comfortable in their ruts to want to change. All of us can stand on our soapboxes and cry about how unfair life is. But you have the power to change it. So don't ever expect sympathy from me because your life "sucks".

I think life is about who you are. You spend your whole life to grow up, just to be back in diapers with a feeding tube. I think people should know that life is precious, and you only have a few of the "young" years. I have learned that taking life too seriously will always make you sad. I know that have too high of standards will always set you up for failure. I think life is about balancing yourself. today everything is so black an white. You are either skinny or fat, Short or tall, whore or prude. Meanwhile the world just passes by. I try to remind myself to look past what I see. The things I don't like about this world is that we always need to fight, and are constantly trying to be more than what we are. Instead of just being satified with what we have an making that beautiful. I hate questioning. the things I love in this world is that if you don't want to have fun then you don't have to, and if you want to then that is your choice. Freedom is what it is called. You can choose to live your life unhappy or take a breather an love yourself. I think that is what life it all about. Just finding yourself instead of trying to make everyone else happy, or accepting. It will never happen.

I think you need to quit complaining, seriously the whinny kids of today disguist me. Sure you may not have the best life relative to other people you know but do you have food to eat, do you have an school to attend? Yes you do, so really need to appreciate what you've got.

High school sucks, everyone one goes through shit there and they think they're life is the worst thing ever. I spent all 4 years with the worst acne ever, looked like someone walked up to me everyday with a red sharpie and started putting red dots on me. But now that I look back, I could care less. We were all immature and assholes then who had nothing better to do than talk shit because someone was talking trash about us. Go smoke some weed and get through the hard times like the rest of us

Yep, I was in the exact same situation. The problem with people in highschool (to me) is that teenagers are very "me" oriented. They care, but they don't care. I know, I was the same... so was my best friend, and her sister, and our other friend. In fact we had a convo about this the other week at my friend's 25th bday party.

You look back and realize that while yes, highschool sucked, it wasn't that bad. I also dislike the whiney attitude of people today. We have it so much better than alot of other people. We don't live in war zones, we're not prostituted out by our families to make money, we even have basic fundamentals like access to fresh water. Without having to trek 2 miles to get there.

It'd be nice if people could look past that and see that we're actually pretty well off. I'd much rather be griping about how I didn't get new school clothes rather than worrying about if I'm going to step on an unmarked landmine on my way out.

Hey, its not all bad, you did well in your exams. I bet those idiots who reckon they're hard didn't. I know I don't go to that school anymore but they get scared shitless, when a) they're on their own or b) you threaten to or actually report them.
Hell they annoyed me, they even used to call me that i got on the bus for free, because I was a prefect, why should I care, I get an extra fiver every week.
Basically they're jerks. Keep your spirit up and you'll be somewhere else with good results soon.

lets see i'm 14 and i've been bullied for 6 years of my life and no i'm not a emo. i try not to whine but i just always seem to, life just sucks. i have hardly any friends, nearly the entire school is against me and think i'm gay. if you were in my shoe's you would have killed yourself by now but i only carry on to see were life takes me. no matter what i will never kill myself. Hopefully they will fall and i will rise, i'd rather kill them than myself
