*What had it been now? I thought as I blinked my eyes wondering. Too long, but it must be be around five maybe even six yeras, Time makes no changes nowadays. Not since the spread of the T-Virus by the Umbrella coporation. They fell long ago. As did most of the world and socity. As it is said these days, when there is no more room left in hell, the dead shall walk the earth. I shrugged and stood up from my position on top of an old wherehouse roof and pulled a brown cload around my already tan trench coat. But this was a special coat that I had designed. It made it so the creatures least not the really powerful one, not able to smell my blood. I could walk among maybe five of them but more then that was too much of a risk. Still there were not many out. I wonder what they did when they were not..eating.*

*I shook my head to clear it of such thoughts. I was maybe two stories up and I needed to get to the ground. Lucky for me the drain pipe on the side of the building was not rusted and about to fall off. Otherwise nothing on Earth would hide the smell of my blood when I hit that ground. I cupped my right hand and then my left over that one and started my way down the poll. I thought about sliding but decided to use my feet against the wall to bring myself down wiht less noise. Three minutes later I was on the ground.*

*Nested against my jeans were two large hunting knives and at my hip were two semi automatic Beretta 92FS 's. Both were fully loaded and not on safty. The night air smelled thick of blood and rotting flesh. What's new? God the days I wished there were televisions...I moved out into the night with my hood pulled over my head and walking slow and paying attention to what it was I might step on...good for my health and not just the exercise either. I hoped to join up with some other and go hunting or just meet some alive peope nearby, maybe maybe I'd be killing again tonight as well...

Another zombie was dead. I walked along the corpes of the undead, checking carefully so as I didn't miss one. I put away my two magnums in my pockets. I keep walking wondering to myself "Why the hell is this happening? What did we do to deserve this punishment?" I look around just in time to see another zombie leap at me. It was too late to grab my guns, so instead...out comes Mr. Sword. As soon as it reaches me it gets sliced. "Ha that was so pathetic. Where's the real challange!?"

I keep walking until finally I come to an old house. "Looks nice enough to stay the night" I walk to the entrance and open the door. "Empty. What a shame" I walk into the main hall and look around. "Where is everyone and why..." Before I could finish, six zombies come out of the guest bedroom. "Looks like this is gonna be one helluva a party!" Two of the zombies rush at me and get a bullet a piece in their heads. "Hey I can see right through you" The other four then rush at me and I cut them down with my sword. "Well that was fun. Now on to more exploring." I walk upstair and the lights go on. "Seems like i'm not alone"

*I heard the roar of a magnum being fired. It was pretty close. The blasts echoed across what buildings still stood and I could tell that it was close. The real question is: Did I want to help out or not? I considered it a moment and then decided to head over to where I suspected the gun shots to have been fired. Sure enough the air was a dead give away for the walking dead.*

*I quickly drew my weapons dual weilding them and crouched as to approach an old house that looked like you could kick it and make it fall. They didn't build things like they used to. Why? Cause there was no one to build the damn things. Another loss, too bad. I never really lived in houses anyways. Living on the streets was more my style. Crouching I moved into the house and noticed an errie light coming from the top of the stairs. Many dead zombie's ,the lowest of the evil the T-Virus had created, were scattered about. I decided to speak in case anyone was alive here, but I kept my guns trained in case anything decided to attack the source of the sound. Me.*

"Are you alive?" *I figured it was enough. My voice always held sort of a dire tone and lack of emotion. Too many days on the battlefield called life I suppose. I moved my way up the stairs slow and with caution. Breaking a stair out of wood and perhaps my foot along with it was not a welcome thought.*

I stood near an old house "I hear someone. I better go check it out" I say and pick up my sword. I rush in around the back and knock the door down. As soona s I enter I see four zombies coming at me. "Not what I needed right now" I run at them and slice them in half. "Now onto whoever I heard. But first thing i'm gonna ask them if they know anything about this stupid t-virus." I say and look around the corner to check for more zombies. "Coast is clear"

I finally reach the main hall and look up and see someone on the stairs. "Well now this is unexpected" I walk over to the stairs and ask him "Hello up there, you alright?" Suddenly the man turns around and I see he's human. "Well would you care for a little help there buddy. By the way, my name is Shadow Morgan."

" I had heard a faint sound in the distance inside the, it sounded like it was an normal human voice and not some twisted evil hellish demon that had spawned from the firey depths of the underworld." I had answered back to whom ever yelled then right when i wuz bout to reply the call i wuz quickly surrounded by a freakish lookin figure in the midst of the door, then! it slahed at me with something so sharp that it cut me right clean into my stomach.
I looked up a the demon that was dressed in black, it eyes glew a firey red and raised his wepon appearing to be a cyth and right before he could hit me i plugged 4 rounds into demon, it let out a gut wrenching sreech of pain that the other side of the world could hear it ! It moved and twisted in so much agony it reminded me of a fish outta water, then it was dissapeared into the abyss and it was nomore trace of it. Moments later more zombies came from all over and i was still bleeding for well over ten min., i heard who ever yelled before , was running down the hall and the last shot i fired killed the last zombie, then i collapsed lying on the ground thinking could this really be it , have i cheated death so much that ... that it caught up with me this time?, who knows - only until help arrives then will i know.
