Eh? Strago was a blue mage, Gau wasn't really a mage in character.

The least used for me where Strago and Umaro, I used Edgar, Terra, Celes and Locke the most.

i think strago and gau were useless too, but if you equip them properly like you would do with your favorite characters they are not all that bad (espeially when they can asorb the most deadly attacks).

Strago, Relm, and Mog.

All the Gau hating... he was arguably the most powerful character for the first part of the game. Maybe because I was lucky enough to jump on an Aspik pretty quickly every time I played it. Or Templar... or Hazer... there's just so many great rages that he destroys things with.

Strago was freakin useless. He didn't have access to good weapons, his Lore sucked, and his natural magic power was decent at best.

Relm is an extremely watered down version of Gau.

Mog had plenty to offer throughout the game. I guess I just never got into playing a Moogle enough to take him in the group often. In hindsight, I really do like the dances and how boosted Mogs stats are to begin with.

The three characters that I pretty much never use are Gau, Umaro, and Strago. I didn't like Umaro because I can't stand not being able to control my characters in battle. Strago never gets used because he is not very strong and I usually don't want to put in the time to get enough Lores. Finally, I don't use Gau for both reasons, I don't like to spend time collecting Rages and I can't stand not having control (though for some ironic reason I tend to use Mog's dance more often than I should).

i never used that snowman uamrao because you could not control and he couldnot use magic because i prefer magic

I didn't use General Leo or Kefka often cause I didn't know I could! In all seriousness though, I used probably used Umaro the least because you could barely equip him nor control him. He is a strong character, but just didn't appeal to me.

All the automatic characters because I just do not like it when I am not in control. However, since I am a perfectionist, I leveled them up to the max, too.

Umaro is pretty great, but i never did use him much although i always did go out of my way to get him, also i never really used Gau too much either

Umaro is a BEAST..though you couldn't control him, if you equipped him right you could sit and watch him destroy the enemies.

Gogo I agree is pretty useless..while he is the most versatile character, his stats suck so i never bothered to level him up much.

Gau can be useless, if you get all his rages though, that's a whole different story (who wants to take the time to do that though)? One note about rages..Gau can learn General Leo's "shock" move as a rage, thought that was badass.

Relm and Strago i barely ever used either..

Didn't use strago, relm, umaro, or gogo very much. Tested them all out quite a bit but never really cared for them. They all had benefits and whatnot, but they didn't really appeal to me. I used Gau for quite some time, but dropped him after I got most of the rages, didn't seem worth it to me anymore.

Characters I never used eh? I have to go with Gau for one. Took me way too long to get him good attacks plus his defense completely sucks. I also didn't use Setzer much after getting through Daryl's Tomb. He has good attacks but he's rather weak for my liking.
