Do you believe in ghosts?

I do, I know it sounds crazy to some people but I do believe in ghosts. My friend took me up this haunted road called Dudley Road, a couple weeks ago, I had prickles up my neck the whole time. There's a haunted convent where nuns were hung for practicing withcraft back in the 1800's. The tree which they hung the nuns from is also there and when you climb the tree you can hear screams and scratching(or so i've been told) I'm too freaked out to experience it but we just drove by and just driving down that road gave me the creeps. There's also this house called the sinking house, its all boarded up and abandoned because there have been reports of seeing ghosts in the windows at night. Also if you drive down the road at night you can supposedly see nuns walking and in the fog they look like demons. It was very creepy. So do you believe in any things like this? Haveyou gone into a haunted place? What was the experience like?

I don't really know to be honest with you. I've have to see it to believe it. Some of my relatives have said they'd seen ghosts... I hope never to experience something paranormal, mainly because I know I'd most likely end up in therapy for it.

I've visited ghost towns before, though and seen nothing... The experience was just lsightly creepy, but only because the reputation they had gained for themselves. I bet you if I hadn't known of the apparent "sightings" I'd have felt nothing whatsoever.

Yea,I am not sure either but I lean mostly toward I do believe. I haven't seen anything either,and I was acting all paranoid when we were going down that road, at times I clsoed my eyes when we were looking through the trees. There's also supposed to be a haunted insane aslyum there too, we aren't sure where though.

An insane aslyum, eh? Heh, I'm really interested in seeing northern Maine in New England... it's apparently a ghost town place... the place where they also based of my favourite game series, Silent Hill. I'd like to see more ghost towns... just not witness a ghost, if you get what I mean.

If I see somehting, I sort of go into a freak-out mode. The scary thing is, I'm usually deathly still if I see something, but inwardly I'll be shaking and panicking like theres no tomorrow! ^^;

We think they might have torn it down. Dudley road is her favorite place, she'd been there loads of times and never found it. She does urbexing-urban exploration. So she's constantly going into abandoned or haunted places just to take pictures. But its some pretty creepy stuff. I would give you her website but I have lost the link.

I don't believe in ghosts becauses I've never seen one and the only people that I know that say they have seen them are on tv and that is reason enough not to believe them. One day though I want to visit some ghosts towns and see for my self. If I were to see something I couldn't explain logicaly then I might change my mind.

You know those instruments that supposedly measure ghost activity, well there is a American Civil War battle ground someplace and if you mention Robert E. Lee's name the little instrument gets high ghost reaings. Who knows, those instruments may be a bunch of bull.

I heard about that,or something familiar. You should come to Dudley Road,lol,its a creepy place. The road all of a sudden gets all narrow and bumpy.It's like something out of a horror movie. When I saw the tree that the nuns were hung from,I really got creeped out. You know how sometiems you can feel another person's presence? I had that feeling the whole time.

Yeah Rikky, there probably were ghosts around without a doubt. If you've only seen ghost programs on TV then that is enough to make you not believe in ghosts, cause well everything on tv is pretty much all bullshit and never real, hell, even reality TV is bullshit. Ghosts are real, next time you goto that place you should chance it and get out of the car, especially if you had that kind of feeling, just say **** it and gitter done. What I tihnk though is that if your going to chance it be carefull, especially if you see a ghost, because supposodly ghosts are around for a reason, some people think because of unfinished business or something like that...So if you see a ghost or feel a presence dont acknowledge it, cause if you do it will try everything to try to get your attention so you can help it...Hell, we've all seen ghost, remember when Patrick Swayze Found out Whoopie could see him? Hmm.. I'm not sure if I believe in them or not. I have heard many different stories about people seeing ghosts in houses or abandoned buildings but I have never witnessed seeing a ghost for myself, nor do I really want to! The people who tell these stories sound convincing but I'm not sure whether they exist or not. I guess you'd have to see it to believe it!

I don't know anyone who has seen a ghost though, most of them don't believe in them.

After watching Scooby-Doo for several years, I don't really believe they exist LOL. "There's no such thing as ghosts!" For real though, I have absolutely no idea!

Some guy showed a picture on television of what he thought was a ghost. It was really interesting to see but all it looked like was a puff of smoke. It could have been anything!

Hahaha, no I was actaully being seriouse, I'm a full out ghost/paranormal believer...I guess watching excessive amounts of X-Files episodes when I was a kid had that effect on me..Yeah, I cant say I'd blame you for not wanting to get out of the car..But it would be a pretty fun mission if you and a bunch of your sexy friends all went up there...That my friend is the setting for a cheap, sexy horror flic

I'm back in this house I used to live in, that I saw a creepy shadow thing in once. The second night I was here I saw it again.

I was on my mattress in the attic, and I heard someone come up the stairs. I thought it was my bro, and I was all "Ever heard of knocking?" (I sleep half nude) I heard him coming up five steps, then nothing. I thought my ears had tricked me, so I just kept reading.

Five minutes later I heard another creak up the steps. I turned my head to the right and right there, in the light of the TL, was that same ****ing black shadow. Only this time I wasn't almost falling asleep or intoxicated.

I dunno...it was just this freaky man shaped shadow. It didn't have it's own shadow...which sounds stupid, but I don't know how to describe it...like it was it's own black hole.

My spine pretty much spasmed from fear, I opened my mouth to scream, and it was gone.
I didn't even blink, it just disappeared.

I'm either psychotic or there's a man on my stairway. I sleep in the study now. In a chair. With a maglight.

Eh...that house gives me the creepses.
