Now that I think back, my brothers friend took me to this old abandoned house that was turned into a meth lab. There is a lot of junk there and there is this garage with furniture that gets mysteriously rearanged quite often. There is also a room called the spider room with tones of spiders and cobwebs. We didn't get out of the car when we were there because we were freaked. There are a couple graves there and I guess the people buried there are the ghosts who huant the place. I was more afraid of running into some meth gansters cause I'm sure they would have guns and would like to kill us.

Im not sure I believe in ghosts, all I know is that if I ever saw one it would CREEP ME OUT.
Im the guy whos scared of the 6th sense because it just seems too real, I mean what would happen if you did wake up and you could see dead people? How would you live?

We have this stupid thing with our electric fuse's where one of them will flick off and ALL the downstairs lights go out but the upstairs ones still work and sometimes when you go and put the fuse back into place. Five minutes later, another one will go and the upstairs lights wont work.
My mum says it cant be the cat because theres a bunch of junk there that the cat cant squeeze through (I have a huge ass cat.) and it always seems to be the middle ones that go so it cant be anything knocking it.
We asked our neighbours and they said that the people who used to live here complained of the same thing, apparently before they lived there, there used to be a 30 something year old guy living in the house who was mentally retarded. He apparently had the brain of a 5 year old.

Anyway to my story.
My aunt last year stayed over my mums house in England where I was staying and she slept downstairs on the sofa bed and I had just gone to bed about an hour before. I hear her running upstairs and knocking on mine and my mums door. She was completely white and shaking saying she'd seen the ghost downstairs and he wouldnt leave her alone.
Apparently he kept trying to tickle her feet while singing happy birthday to himself.

I havent seen him for myself but that stuff kinda scares me and I remember a couple of times I've been sitting on the computer and feeling like there was someone behind me, watching me or even seeing shadows go past really quickly. Creepy.
But even then, Im still not sure I believe in ghosts. Sometimes I think it could just be your mind, you being all paranoid that someone is going to get you or something.

I think a lot of stuff people "see" is up to your brain; 99.9% of what you see is translated in your imagination. Especially if you're in a state of paranoia, a whistling wind can sound like an eery ghostly voice or, stuff like that.

I think I'll have a seance for my little black friend. I wonder if he's real. Who has seances nowadays? Spiritual callings? Exorcisms? Pray tell.

Bloodrunner, dude, two posts right after each other?? And spammage? Please go backa nd read the rules...

I definatly belive in ghosts. Whether they are spirits of people who have crossed over or entities from another plane, I haven't quite decided yet. But I belive that most ghosts are not really so and so's long dead relative, but psychic impressions left from when those people were alive. There is a reason I belive this:

We have a old fort out here that is not used anymore, infact very little is left of the buildings. People in my area have probably heard of it, it's old Fort Phantom. I have never gotten the impression of an actuall spirits there, but when walking through some of the building my first time out there, I could smell cigar and pipe smoke in what used to be the officer's quaters, and blood in the hospital/infirmary building. Where they used to hold parade practices I could hear the sounds of marching. Very creepy.

Yes, I believe in ghosts and spirits.

Long story short, I've witnessed multiple occasions of people being possessed. I'm talking multiple, unrelated people being possessed by different spirits. At least two occasions where I know for a fact the person could not fake it. The person was one of my aunt. She has no history of mental illnesses, nor any history of creating elaborate hoaxes. On at least two occasions, she was possessed by a spirit of a dead family member. The first time, she was possessed by a great grandmother of another family member. The attitude, body language, manner of speech, and words said were NOTHING like my aunt's but everything like the former living person as confirmed by my grandmother. The second time, she was possessed by my grandfather. Again, the behavior, speech, and knowledge seen were nothing like the possessed but consistent of the spirit's, whom has never met the possessed when alive.

While the possibility of her faking both possessions is there, it's so slim because she knows little to nothing about these spirits, let alone intimate details of their lives.

Another example of possession was with this normally flamboyant, materialistic friend of ours who was regularly possessed by a former Buddhist monk. We know for a fact this spirit does indeed exist as he's interacted with many of us through other means independently. Either through dreams, visions, or voices.

For example, I used to be very paranoid when I heard thumping noises from the bathroom when my aunt was showering. I thought she was being attacked. Turns out she was unclogging the drain. But when she came out, she immediately told me to chill out and that she was not being attacked. I asked how did she know what was going on in my mind. She replied that the spirit of the monk told her.

Another occasion, my brother wanted to move away. I asked this spirit to try to talk my brother out of it. Now my brother has never met this spirit as he used to live out of state. So, after asking, the spirit agreed. Later that night while the four of us were watching TV, my brother suddenly shot up, surprised. He said, "Who the Hell said that?! Something hit my head and said, "Don't move away." To which I laughed and explained to him. He still moved away though.

There are other examples but it's more unbelievable but true. I'll elaborate if interested.

Well, the definition of a ghost is the spirit of a dead person, especially one believed to appear in bodily likeness to living persons or to haunt former habitats, and the secret message in this definition is "Ghosts are fake and Fernester is awsome".

I believe in ghosts beause one time when I was little my papaw bought my brother and I a device that made sounds to help go to sleep. There was a heartbeat sound, rain forest, woods with crickets etc.

My brother and I had bunk beds, so we slept in the same room. One night we had the heartbeat sound on and we were trying to go to sleep. All of a sudden there was a deep voice that started talking on it. It was creepy, so we ran into the living room and told our mom. When she went to look at it, it was back to normal.

We moved out of that house a long time ago. I would stay up late trying to sleep, but I never could. I would always hear noises coming from the Kitchen at night. There were plates hitting each other and others like that.

Thats some creepy stuff....
I'm not sure I believe in posession though.. Or the oujji board.. Its too easy to fake and because of so many people faking it and it being in so many movies, I just dont believe in it.
But then of course, if I walked into a room with the girl from the exorsist spinning her head 360 degrees around.. THEN I would believe in posession but until that day comes, its a no go.
