| | I have said before, and will say again LOZ: OOT is my best game ever. I've said why before, and yes you can do it in a day, with quite a few of the sidequests done, I've done it a few times.

98 | I've thought about it and I have decided that the BEST game I ever played, the game with the most perfect, well balanced, and enjoyable design, the game that "shall outstrip all praise and make it halt behind", is...Beyond Good and Evil. Seriously that game was spectacularly well made. I've heard it called the "greatest game no one ever played". You see, no one bought it. I'm not sure why. i'm uncertain I could point out any serious flaw in the game if my life depended on it.

300 | I don't know BEST game I ever played of the century but best game for the year that would be Kingdom Hearts 2.For having good graphics, good battle system, good soundtracks(mostly that) and for having soo many minigames to be played. It's fun eventhough some don't like it for having the idea of mickey mouse in the game.

| | The best game I've ever played is actually FFVIII. Yup, it's a FF. I just love RPGs, and FFVIII has a great story, with really good characters. Also, I think it has good graphics for a PSX game.

34 | Pokemon Red - The first, the original, and the best. Although the others are good themselves, they lose that little bit of originality each time.

| | This is a really hard thing to do since I have so many games I've really enjoyed. My #1 favourite is almost a tie between FFX and Grandia 2, FFX wins because it has better graphics than Grandia 2. Not that I'm a graphic whore or anything, if so FFX would win by a landslide, it's just one quality in FFX that is better in than G2's. I liked both games for their stories and battle systems. FFX had the sphere grid and G2 had the tradtional Grandia battle system.

| Lord Have Mercy | Suikoden II. I cannot say it enough. Suikoden 2, Suikoden II, Suikoden Two. It is, and probably will always be, my favorite game ever. Everything about the game was flawless and enjoyable, and I am about to go absolutely bonkers with the fanboyism. So you can either skip the rest of this post, seeing as you already know what my favorite game is, or you could read on and mock me for being a fanboy of a game probably only a few of you have heard about. FANBOYISMS! First of all, the characters. All 108 of them are beautiful, each in their own different way. They do not all get equal backstory, and I am fine with that. With a cast as large as this game has, it would be ridiculous for any sane person to expect every character to have a moment in the spotlight. The major characters have their stories, the minor characters do not. But each and every one has their uses, regardless of how useless they may be. Right down to the lady who gives you poor hints about where to go or how to find someone. With the expection of a few, who are made to look like each other on purpose, they are also fairly different in their designs. The storyline is another thing that catches my eye when I play the game. Crazy guy wants to kill things because he suffered earlier in life, people oppose him. It is the same story that has been told in countless other video games, but that does not matter. The Suikoden series has never tried to bring anything new to the table or the RPG genre, it just tells a story and it tells it well. It offers twists and submerges you within itself. Building off the first and second paragraphs, the storyline and characters combine in such a way that I actually felt sorry for a few of the characters. Mainly Jowy Blight. In all honesty, I hated him at the beginning when he betrayed me. But towards the end, and upon reading more and more about it all, I began to feel generally sorry for him. It isn't everyday that I actually feel real emotions for a character in a video game, and I am willing to admit that I felt some for his character in particular. A few others, too, but I won't bother naming them all. The music was grand, the controls were not clunky and difficult to get down, the sidegames were enjoyable, and the game possessed just the right amount of difficulty. I hate playing a game that is incredibly difficult just to be challenging, and Suikoden II isn't one of them. That isn't to say that you can float by the game easily enough, but you do not get to the point where you cannot beat a character so you throw your controller across the room. So yeah. I could go on and on and on about why Suikoden II is a great game, and my personal favorite, but I won't because.. well.. it doesn't matter. I highly suggest this game, and the entire series, to any serious gamer. That is, if you are willing to pay the price it costs to obtain both Suikoden I and Suikoden II. The third and fourth games are not too difficult to find, and the fifth was just released a few months back. Tactics is somewhere in the mid-difficulty range.. but not overly so. I type too much!

| All-range mode! | The best game I ever played? ...would this be according to the world, or according to me? If it's according to me, then you could've just said "what's your favorite game ever?" ![]() Anyhoo, the BEST game I've EVER played, I would probably say is Warcraft II. That game just had so much replay value. I played that game like nonstop for a year, every second of my life that I could, before I even came close to being tired of it. As a matter of fact, when I finally couldn't play it anymore because my brother moved out (and he was the one in the family who owned the computer) I was like "...what do I do with myself?" Then my sister got a computer the next fall, and everything was lovely again. Heh. The first week we got it, I forgot the days of the week. Then Friday came around, and I missed TGIF! (For those of you who are too young to remember, it was ABC's brilliant, family-friendly Friday night line up of old.) My mom was also away in like Yellowstone or something, and I got a postcard from her, and I was like "meh. Gotta play more Warcraft II!" The biggest thing I think I loved about this game was the map builder. Also, the fantastical units and characters to put on the map. I think the most fun was when you broke through the first walls of an enemy base and started beating the crap out of their main buildings, and then right behind them was the other enemy's main base. War! Battles! Blargh! ...anyhoo. I remember when I played the game on battle.net, I was way outclassed. People would have like 4000 troops in like 2 minutes. What's the fun in that? "Okay, let's start an assembly line, make 1000 units in 30 seconds, send them out to destroy everything on the map, find a new map and start again." I did win once, somehow. I built a bunch of footmen early on, and just sent them out and killed everyone before they could build the knights/dragons/whatever, apparently. Heh. Anyhoo, I'm done. Wuv, Yer Mom
