For as long as the Universe has existed, so have the Heavens and the Underworld. Over time, a Void was formed to accomodate the souls that could not find their way.

The Universe is comprised of mortal beings, humans, animals, botanical life forms, micro-organisms, and related things. They live until the time of judgement, and are sent on to an afterlife most suitable to them.

Forms of Angelic life reside in the Heavens. Gods, Godesses, Pixies (who are solely servants to the residents of the Heavens), the mortals who are worthy of entry, and 'The Ultimate' reside in the Heavens. They are peaceful beings, and do not like to resort to violence to solve their problems. 'The Ultimate' makes every decision, and it's rule is law.

The Underworld is the prison for the mortals who have proven themselves to be a threat to The Ultimate's law. Anyone who defies this law winds up in the Underworld. Demons (small, soul-less, beings who serve as bringers of pain and agony for the residents of the Underworld), Golems (bulky, destructive, powerhouses), Cyclopes (one-eyed giants), the mortals who defy The Ultimate's law, and 'The Shadow' (the gatekeeper, the grave digger, and the Grim Reaper are all essentially 'the Shadow', and he serves as a guard of the underworld, appointed by 'The Ultimate'), reside in the Underworld. Destruction, agony, and tortue are constant happenings in the depths of the Underworld, as violence is the most common form of communication.

The Void is simply a neutral zone, home to empty souls, and lost beings.

These four worlds have co-existed for a countless number of years, never needing to disturb one another. Until just recently.

An unknown force has broken the seal between the Underworld and the Universe. Demons, Golems, Cyclopes, and all other creatures of evil are spilling from the tear in the seal, including the deceased mortals who were sentenced to live there, the 'criminals' of the past. (Remember, this is not the real world, and, therefore, you may NOT create a character who has previously existed. i don't think that will be a problem here anyway.) They are bent on complete and total destruction, almost as if they had a pre-determined goal.....

In retaliation, The Ultimate has sent it's own battalion of warriors to the Universe to protect it's creation (the Universe), initiating a war between the Heavens and the Underworld. The beings of the Universe also feel the need to contribute to the war, and have began to attack anything, and everything, that seems foreign to them, including The Ultimate's army of angelic beings.

The residents of the Void are forced to look on from afar as the battles unfold and the other three worlds destroy each other, as they have no means of transportation between their home and the Universe. This frightens them, as they know that if there is no other world, there will be no need for a 'neutral zone', and, much like the rule of supply-and-demand, they will eventually disappear into nothingness. They hope to find a way into the Universe.

In conclusion, a full-scale war between the Universe, the Heavens, and the Underworld has began, indicating the end of all that is, and all that ever would have been. Unless, of course, someone can put an end to this madness.

[Anomaly]

Name: Grey Stalker
Age: Unknown
Physical Appearance: Not entirely human, nor complete divine or diabolical. The creatures skin is ash gray, as are his pupilless eyes. Muscle bound, if anything he appears as more of a hulking beast than anything. Both arms and legs end in shaggy, grey furred appendages that can best be described as black clawed paws. Curling, black horns jut from elbow, knee, and shoulder. The chest down ot the nether regions are covered in thick, charcoal gray fur.
His face is vaguely human, and beautiful, save for a slight elongating of the mouth into something like a muzzle filled with fangs. Protruding gently from the face are smallish, black horns along the cheek bones, and a great crest of ten curling black horns sprout from a thatch of long grey hair that cascades down the back. On the back itself are a set of three featherless, fleshless bone wings. Further down is a long, segmented bone tail that ends in a curling hook of bone.

History: Little is known of the Grey Stalkers true history. Even his name is merely a description. Much of his story has been left in shadow, and much of it has been cloaked in blinding light. It would seem both the major players of the Heavens and the Underworld would be happy to forget about this enigmatic being.
Yet there rumors in the Void...that he was once an Ophanim and delivered judgement on the world. That he served the shadow as an arch-daimon. That in the mortal realm he was a feared conquerer and bringer of madness.
What, if any of this, is true, its impossible to say. All that is known is that the Grey Stalker seems to have lost much to the Void, including his memories...but not his spirit.

Extra Info: Grey Stalker is so named because he has a habit of stalking and torturing the souls that were not good enough for heaven or evil enough for hell. At the same time he has also been known to help said souls move on to one dimension or the other. Though it is limited, he possess the ability to slip through dimensions...however he is almost always shunted back into the Void that is his prison.
