i heard that shadow is relm's dad but never got how that came about except the part that he didnt want to go in that town as if he had history there is there nething i missed

No no, don't worry about it. It was an honest mistake. But yes, that's a very big thing, and a lot of people don't realize it even after playing the game once or twice. I figured I would put the question in the spoiler because some people never stop to think about it.

Anywho, to further explain,

Spoiler:

One of the most shocking and obvious pointers is Interceptor. If you recall, the dog hates EVERYONE except for Shadow. And then, when you get to Thamasa... he seems to love Relm. They even go out back to play!

And here's a related pointer. If you fail to wait for Shadow on the Floating Continent, he dies. Then, in the World of Ruin, when you go to pick up Relm, she will have Interceptor at her defense, much as Shadow did through the first half of the game. There's no way you can tell me that's just coincidence.

So I was going to add a few of my own comments, but I had to stop and look something up about one of the dream sequences. When I did this, I discovered that Wikipedia makes all the same points I was going to, but does so much more elegantly.

Shadow shares three notable similarities with Relm: first, the two are the only characters who can equip the Memento Ring (which has the description "Departed mom's love protects against fatal magic attacks"). Second, they are the only two people that Interceptor likes. Third, they both can be found at the Veldt, in the World of Ruin, depending on whether or not Shadow was saved.

Another character in Final Fantasy VI, Strago Magus, makes it very clear that Relm's mother passed on shortly after her birth. For Relm to have been alive while Clyde abandoned her, his wife and/or lover indeed had to have died prior to his leaving.

A villager in the town of Thamasa will tell the player that Relm isn't Strago's real granddaughter, but the daughter of a friends of his, or so a rumor (in the game) says.

Strago later does not recognize Shadow's voice, which either may be due to Strago's old age, or to Shadow having only been in Thamasa for a short time. It is likely that the friend of Strago was Relm's mother, as Thamasa is a very secluded village with deep secrets in the community. Outsiders are rarely welcome. This may have been why Clyde left when his wife/lover died.

These facts, along with Shadow's dreams, lead many players to evidently conclude that Shadow was once Clyde Arrowny, either the husband of Strago Magus's friend or his son-in-law, likely making him Relm's father.

Although not necessarily related, in the Playstation re-release of the game, there is a possible hint at this. During one of the videos, the camera pans up to Shadow, and before he opens his eyes, a flash of light happens for a split second. Using tools to play the video frame by frame, a sketch of Amano's Relm appears briefly right in the middle of the flash.

Thanks for spoiling my game. JK, JK. Well, yes you spoiled little bit of my game but it doesn't matter. I have play five or six times this game almost through. But that wasn't reason why I post here. Really reason why I posted here that you opened my eyes. I haven't really play with the Shadow and I have never save him on Floating Continent. I haven't also see any of his dreams because I don't where to see those and how. So I'm asking how can I see those dreams. I have think that is almost impossible to see those dreams because you got Shadow only little times to your party. And when you get him party you can't go any of those place because you don't have Airship.

All you have to do is keep sleeping at inns until you get them all.

The fifth dream only happens in the World of Ruin though.

Make sure to wait for Shadow on the continent and he willl show up at the last minute. You can then find him in the Veldt cave in the World of Ruin, and he permanently joins your party. He won't leave you in the World of Ruin like he does previously. Then just go to an inn (apparently Jidoor works best) and keep sleeping until you see the dreams.

Also, if you equip shadow with memento ring and offering and his best knife, he kicks all butts in the colisseum. Death magic (like blaster) can't hurt him, and he blocks most physical attacks with his knife.

Why you give info like that...I know that he that he will show up in last five second in Floting Continent...and I know how to get my magic block over 100 % so I don't need any kind stuff like that...I have play whole game like 5-6 time but I haven't found that useful so I have left he on the Floating Continent...all I want is that I would know where I can see his dreams and when...

Go to an inn in the world of ruin and sleep with Shadow in the party. That's all you have to do.

Only in WoR...I have understand that to see those dreams you have to sleep on WoB...well, that cleared a lot..

He leaves after you find him in the Veldt Cave. You get him permanently after that when you go to the Coliseum. and bet the Striker you found in the Veldt Cave.

You're correct! It's been too long since I got that far in the game. (Like 1996 or something). Yep I'm gettin old.
