I dont see why all girls tend to be steroetyped into a whining mass. I seriously dont know any girls who whine all the time.

As much as I hate to admit, the things that are said about females are completly true. Women can be catty, envious, never content and superfical. I have had my moments, but I try to keep myself from acting such ways. Not all girls are like that, but a good percentage are. This is why I stick to having guy friends...less compications.

Hell, it really is both genders. Men can be just as whiny, but more often then not, we just get kind of pouty (not like "hmmph! *walks away*", but more like "but I don't wanna do that!") and annoyed if we don't get our way... that is if we don't just explode in a fit of rage after holding our opinions in for a good long while. Ironically, a lot of problems can be avoided if a guy just says that he doesn't like something, or wants a change. No reason to beat a woman to death because she made a ham sandwich, when you hate ham sandwiches, but hadn't told them so. Women aren't mind readers.

Women of course get the short end of the stick on this one... and a lot of ones for that matter. From what I've seen, girls are more likely to speak their mind when dealing with certain topics, like whether they want to do certain things, and of course this can come off as whiney at times. Sometimes it is whiney though, I guess it depends on the girl.

As for being slutty, thats a matter of opinion, and sort of a double standard. If guys had some form of provocative clothing that would be considered "acceptable," I'm sure some would wear it, just as girls wear provocative clothing down at the bars. I'm no fashion expert, but a girl in a miniskirt and tight top is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than a guy wearing something leading to his nuts hanging out. Truth with this one is that girls were given curves and they have every right to show them off. Same goes with legs, boobs and a snatch. It's also kind of a well documented idea that the female body is more of an art form than a males. But thats a debate for another day.

Theres also the concept of being a slut. Girls who sleep around are called every name in the book. But it's not illegal for them to do this... unless they're taking pay, or are under 18. Guys who do this are considered alpha males, because they're obviously so much better than everyone else and are just made to fulfill Darwin's theory. Truth is though, that slutty girls find slutty guys. It's almost like science, but moreso just that people want pleasure. And hey, who doesn't like pleasure?

With jobs, it's very similar. Guys are almost expected to be the dominant gender, because it has been so up until the 70s or 80s, and has been like that forever before that. But it's also human nature to reason out why someone was given a promotion, while justifying your own status. It's hard for coworkers to graciously accept seeing other, younger, more attractive people move up in the company ladder. Joe shmo may have been working in the company for 20 years because he was a good worker, but had no college education. But when some young, smart energetic attractive person with a college degree starts moving up in a hurry, it's gonna look like shes partaking in some extra activities. Basically it's a lot of not knowing the facts and heresay that get people screwed over, and it's a lot more to do with older people who are stuck in a position vs. younger people with educations and job mobility.

Thats my 2 cents
