577  | Odin was great. It was annoying til you get him and in the and he gets himself killed. At least Gilgamesh is more useful in the 4th CD, cuz you only fight bosses and Odin's Zantetsuken doesn't work. Yet, it's a pity he died.

3,101   | I found Odin to be rude lol. He never appeared when I was battling a difficult monster. He always appeared when I fought something like a Bite Bug which was not good. He was an awesome character but I found him to be useless. If he actually appeared when I was fighting a Ruby Dragon once in a while, I would change my mind then. ^_^ | ||||||||

3,090 | Ah thread dedicated to me?  Well Odin appeared for me during the right times, well a Ruby Dragon is easy but I liked it when he came out for the Malboro's. He was indeed very useful even if the stupid random factor was there. As for Seifer killing him, well that somewhat makes sense as Seifer is somewhat potrayed as Fenrir, the son of Loki who eats Odin.

1,016 | Well, Odin is/was useful on some battles. He have come couple of times when I wanted it to come help but usually it came when I didn't need it...to get it was hard to me...first time I started beat Tonberry so I didn't have time to get it, second time it killed me and third time I get it but when I didn't found it from GF list I turned PS off...and then I looked to FFONLINE and I saw that it wasn't belong to be in list and then I get it again..but yeap, it was useful and not useful...

2,899 | Gilgamesh takes Odin's place automatically after a certain battle on disc three, provided you actually have Odin before that point. I think Odin's ok, it was always nice to see him show up during fights for an easy win, but other than that he didn't have anything to offer. At least Gilgamesh can hit bosses for you, unlike Odin. Plus they didn't make Odin completely accurate, as his horse (Sleipner) is supposed to have eight legs. I know, a minor detail, but it still bugs me, especially considering how well they portray most mythological figures. ~DragonHeart~

206 | There is still a way to keep Odin Alive but I prefer getting Gilgamesh  If you get odin on disc 4 then you get to keep him because you have already passed the part where Seifer kills him,But Odin sint as good as Gilga.Gilga can do attacks and one hit kill,While odin can only do Zantesuken(Im pretty sure thats the name and how I remembered it ill never know )
