Big O???

Big O was a anime that was aired on late night "Adult Swim". It had a quite perplexing run. Many people that had watched the entire season were balled of for the final ending. Where their confusion about the show might have ended. Too bad that the ending only brought more confusion. An there would be no more season's. Big O was cancelled after it plummited in Japan. It was not very popular over sea's I suppose. Has anyone seen Big O? An if so, what are your thoughts on the series, and would you ever petition to bring it back?

I liked it. Although like you said it did confuse me ALOT. I liked the whole mech thing it was awesome. I can understand why it failed in Japan though...

I did like Big O a lot on adult swim. Who could ever forget that oppening theme song? The story was pretty simple at first, but as the story progressed it got more and more confusing. Now that I think about it. I never really understood what had happened at the ending of the show.

Could the city have been nothing but a show at one time, and when they found out someone used angel to wipe all of their memories? I mean there was that set made and it looked just like angel's memories as a kid. Then after Big O beat the flying megaduse, I think it was called The Big Duo, it flew into the sky and hit those things that looked just like the top of a stage.

I think the show was still good, and I would petition to have it brought back just so we could know what really happened at the end.

Too bad that will never happen eh? Ever wonder what those counting numbers where at the end of the show? Seems like Angel was in the Stage booth as it all came to a head, and everybody dissapeared. As if she herself had set everything in motion. Then the entire shows starts all over again. Everything shiney an new only to be destroyed again. Ah Dorothy was my favorite. Seemingly she was more human like than a robot, but most of the robots their were life like. I left so many questions to be asked.

Yeah I saw Big O. It confused the heck out of me. I haven't got the slightest clue what was going on at the end. I usually figure these things out, but this time..yeah, I got nothin'. He was like a tomato or something, and he was there then he wasn't and then there was this room and...credits. If anyone thinks they can explain it, please do.

Yes he was a tomato. He was a normal average guy, but also the star of the show. He just never knew it. The fact it that The last episode was not really the last episode. The series was never finished. An it left people with even more questions to begin with.
