Easy questions:
  1. My favorite fighr of the game was the battle against the flying sandworm, cool action going on and beatiful scenario, although i really liked to roam the lands and just explore the whole world, as it is beatifully detailed
  2. The hardest one for me was that damn Rock Turle that you have to kill using the geisers. Easiest battle is against the last colossi, the guy can't do you shit if you know how to move
  3. And to your last question, I do consider stalking as a fine example of sane mental health

I thought it was f'ing amazing. I loved it. It was so hard to figure out how to kill each giant. I loved the challenge, and I really felt like I had accomplished something major.

Yikes, I'm fighting colossus #9, the one Lolosky considers the hardest!.
I might not have finished it, yet, but, that sucker is going to be the hardest one, I bet.
He is the only one that forced me to leave the battle ground twice, or else, be killed, he even spotted me when I hid in the cave and came into the cave himself while blasting me with glee!.
He blasted Agro a couple of times, too, making him fall on his side.
I had climbed him a number of times, only to fall off the back, every time.

I was feeling immense pitty when killing them but, not anymore.

I loved the giant bird colossus, I loved jumping on him and clinging to his back while he was flying, if I would have gotten unlimited gripping power, I would have stayed on him much longer.

This game isn't boring or repetitive and I'm still in awe of the land and it's ruins.

I only wish Agro would stay put where I leave him, I hate seeing him neighing and rearing up in a panic when the colossi appear, I constantly call him to my side, but he takes off again almost immediately!.
And what is up with the taking off running like a maniac whenever I'm off and hunting lizzards!, I hear him neighing and suddenly I see him zoom by me at top speed, only to apply the breaks randomly here and there, crazy horse!.

First off, I would like to ask TheHasteChocobo a question:
If it took You 8 hours to kill two particular Colossi, how can I believe that Your total game time was 10 hours?

For second, I played ICO and my brother watched me. He then bought Shadow of the Colossus, played it and I watched him. The pre-title screen movie sequence is magical, especially when Wander arrives to the high bridge, the music is too beautiful to bear. When the first colossus was beaten, I really did feel sorry for it. What in God's name have You done? Who on earth do You think You are to destroy something so unique?. He finished the game in a little more than 13 hours. I am playing it right now.
What I enjoyed about the game was the amount of details You miss when You just play it and You have to stay focused on staying alive.

MINOR SPOILERS
Spoiler:
I mean, the lizards, the doves, the birds of prey, trees destroyed by the colossi, Wander's gradually deteriorating condition, the sound of running water, birds gathering around the altar with Mono, the changing voice of the Dormin, or the fact that You can pat Agro if You want to show him some love and appreciation.
THAT WORLD IS ALIVE!

And the little info You get about what is going on makes You think and invent multiple theories. This is the problem for some players- they do not want to think, they want everything simple, but on the other hand, they find the concept of killing 16 colossi too simple. What the hell is wrong with them! What do they want?!

Hahaha!, on the subject of thinking about the history, my husband watched when I finally killed #9 and he saw what happens immediately after you kill each colossus, he asked me about it, I told him that I didn't know yet the significance of that and he came with half a dozen theories on the spot!.
He now is waiting for me to finish the game, so I can tell him what theory of his was the right one.
A little bit of unexplicable sequence fires a non gamer imagination, now, that is a remarkable feat!

I love how the voice of the Wanderer changes, depending of each situation:
If Agro is close, is as if he would be just talking to Agro.
If Agro is further, he rises up his voice and calls him.
If Agro is nowhere to be seen, he whistles.
And if he is in the heat of battle and, er... running away from the colossus, his call sounds very frantic and panicked.

Nice details like that make a game.

After all the wonderful things said about this game in this forum, its hard to find something to add, but anyways the story is great. The game requires a bit of thinking and some cunning use of almost all of the elements around you. Don't get discouraged in the first few fights, it gets a lot better.

Well, I finally finished it last night, I'm glad I did, because I was starting to feel worse and worse about killing the brutes.
What a lovely ending!, very emotional and imaginative.

Spoiler:
The ending made me very, very sad and achey, I even woke my husband up with all the blubbering.
I knew there was something fishy, of course, given how sad the killing cut-scenes are, but I didn't expect it to be that way, the poor wanderer being so fooled and used.
His struggles to get to the girl and the point in which he looks up at the man about to kill him were very tough to watch, seeing Agro come back limping to the place he thinks his master might be was what finally made me cry.

I haven't played Ico, but I hear about this ending's connection to it and makes me want to play it.
This one, however, I'll never play again, as, saved for the one in the geyser field, I did not enjoy killing the colossi, in fact, kiling the one that topples the columns made me sad, I didn't like how his face broke up in parts and I didn't like his cries of pain with each of my stabs.

All in all, a remarkable experience that everyone should go through.
I'm thinking about getting the OST.

The OST - damn right.
It is a great shame that it has been released only in Japan thus far. I would really love to snatch one for myself as well. But all I can do now is to read about it on the Net - there is a detailed description of it on GameFAQs - or listen to a gamerip soundtrack I downloaded. Naturally, that gamerip is not what I want and the quality is not the best either but it is the best thing I can have for now.

I would like to take this opportunity and ask You all, which Colossus is Yuor favourite one.
I wanted to make a thread about it but the limit for poll answers is 15 and there are 16 Colossi in the game, so I have to do it here in this form.
I suggest You wrap Your answers in Spoil tags, since not everyone is going to choose the first Colossus.

Here I go! My favourite Colossus is #13:

Spoiler:
I am cruising the desert plain and wondering where it could be hiding. I finally reach the pillar circle and that HUGE thing emerges from the ground and I am awestruck! How can it be so big?! I gaze in amazement on the floating giant for a while and listen to the placid score in the background and only then I realise that I am there to kill it. But it doesn't attack me, it seems that it just ignores me.
Getting its attention was not hard at all but walking on its back and hanging to it hundreds of feet above ground was one of the most exciting moments in the game.
When I finally took the Colossus down, I felt a great grief because I consider it the most beautiful and most noble of all sixteen.

Double posting isn't allowed for the record, just edit your second post into your first.

Anyways, I managed to get to I think the tenth Colossus and I absolutely love the game. I really need to go back and finish it soon, if only to see what happens.

I really like how when you defeat one, its corpse doesn't randomly disappear like in other games. They stay right where they died. It's kind of creepy really, walking by the hulk of something you killed. It's all the small effects like that which make this such a good game, in my opinion.

My favorite so far is the bird. That thing was amazing. I was so awed by the fact that they put in flying colossi. I really felt bad for defeating it in the end, seeing the way it died...there's so much emotion in this game to me. Maybe I'm just sentimental, I don't know.
