Can anyone tell me if the Full Metal Alchemist manga is any good and what story differences there are between the manga and the anime? (Or wich of both is the best...) Thanks in advance.

81 | Yes it is very good. The story is a lot different, everybody likes the manga better. I suggest thou reads the manga.

277 | thx. How much do the books normally cost? I think the dvds cost like 19 euros over here, so thats like 22.75 dollars. But are the books less expensive?

7,994   | Yeah. The Full Metal Alchemist thread is for anything FMA. Not just anime. Same with all series topics. The manga is almost always better than the anime because it has certain aspects that the anime does not. Sometimes anime cuts out stuff from the manga, as I've learned. The only thing the anime has that the manga does not, are the emotions from the voice acting, and all the pretty special effects and fighting scenes.

277 | K, thx. I normally like the anime better, but the manga has its charm. And it never gets boring while anime episodes do.
