(This rp deals with ff6 after the fight with kefka. Life has moved on and now this rp tells about what happens. Just be whoever you want. You can even add in characters from other ff games)

Life moves on for the folks of the World of Ruin. Towns have been rebuilt and homes have been as well. Since the fall of Kefka life has been slowly but surely moving on. Except for one person. He survived the destruction of the tower from which Kefka had created. He had hoped for death, but he had survived. "Why must I still be here. Why can't the reaper just take me away, to be with my wife and friend. Baram I thought I could join you" The man was once known as Clyde Arrowny, a father, a husband, and a thief. Now he was only known as Shadow. A man without a past, a Ninja.

He could not stand it. He should be dead, however he was still here. Shadow walked through the remains of the tower and headed for the closest town. A place where he could rest. For he knew his friends were alive, flown away by the use of Setzer's airship, The Falcon. He was glad they weren't dead. Their time was not now. He decided to get going before any monsters attacked.

[Psiko]

Having dropped off the last of his former companions, Setzer steers to the only place left with any meaning for him: Daryl's Grave. The Falcon should be home with its mistress, safely stored underground once more. There will be no problem drinking his problems away in Kohlingen. He almost succeeded at that once before. And then she came along. Celes, that beauty who caught a hold of more than just his eye that day, so long ago. Her resemblance to Maria is quite striking. She caught him in her hold.

Simple manipulation. By using a trick coin, she convinced him that she could replace Daryl. For the first time, he felt alive again. Then that Locke had to enter into the equation. With his rogue-like charm and quick tongue he stole her away. Now the two are off somewhere, together. Happily ever after, right? The villain has been defeated. The world is rebuilding. Magic is slowly regressing back to the Espers. Sounds like it should all be over.

But it isn't.

Not for him.

He feels worse now, knowing Celes is alive and with Locke, than he did when he thought Celes was dead. Setzer idly rolls some dice on the table in the Kohlingen Inn. A dozen empty bottles surround him, sucked dry over the past three hours. He tries to order more. They refuse to give him any more liquor, saying he is too drunk. Bullshit! He knows when he has had enough, and he isn't there yet. It still hurts.

Caught in a drunken rage, he activates his special Slot ability. All three stop on the airship. Oh, shit! Setzer does his best to sprint out of the Inn as he realizes what is about to happen. He stumbles after two steps, but luckily he is close enough that he tumbles out the door as a fleet of airships, responding to the call, bombard the Inn. The explosion sobers Setzer enough for him to realize he has to leave. Now. But where else can he go?

To the Falcon!

He enters Daryl's tomb the next night, completely sober but fighting off the effects of a massive hangover. He needs to get away, and to do that he needs the airship again. What will he do after that? Not even he knows. He just needs to fly far, far away. Fly far enough that he can leave his troubles behind.

Or perhaps track down Locke. Eliminate his competition. Then Celes would be his! His mind is made up, now. He is going to kill Locke once and for all. His pain will die with him!

"And to think I thought I was the only one going crazy" Shadow says as he finds Setzer near a ruined inn at Kohlingen. "Although it's god to see an old face"
"Who the hell?" Setzer turns around and sees Shadow. "What are you doing here? Thought you'd be dead when the tower. What do you want anyways?"
"Thought I was too, but looks like I survived. Anyways I wish I knew what I wanted. Maybe to go to Thasma. Be where I belong."

"So you thought of me and my airship huh? Well I'll be needing it first. I have to go take care of something" Setzer gets up and starts off towards Darlyl's grave.
"It's no good running from the past. I already tried, and it doesn't work. But I hope you don't mind me coming along. Besides once you get through with your task, you could drop me off."
"Sure whatever. Come on, we're going to get the Falcon" So Setzer and Shadow head to Darlyl's grave.

[Mistress Victoria]

Gau had started going to school in the city of Narshe. He wanted to learn how to speak better, to be able to better communicate with his friends. That, and to become smarter than he is now. With the little knowledge he had, he was able to stumble across someone who would teach him the english language.

After several months, his vocabulary had increased several fold. He could now talk normally just like anyone else. His appearance had changed quite a bit as well. He cleaned himself up and now wears camouflage styled shorts, with a white T-shirt that had light camouflage.

Since he now was fluent in the english language, he could attend school and increase his general knowledge. A few years had passed and he had graduated from school with a vast amount of knowledge. People could daresay he went in as a caveman and came out as a scholar.

He left the city in hopes to find some new adventures to use his new found knowledge on.

Palom and Porom's quest begins in Mysidia. After the defeat of Zeromus, they both have been hard at work practicing new spells. Palom learned spells like Meteo 2 and Fire/Lit/Ice 4 while Porom learned Cure 5 and 6. These spells made them have top honors, but at the same time become hated by the other mages.

Palom started to dapple into time magic. He learned spells like Slow, Stop, and Fast. These spells were fun, so he started to make his own spells. He learned how to age enemies, where they become older, and youngen them, so they become babies just like after their birth.

Porom, however, started to train in all types of magic. She first started with White Magic, then Black, then Blue, and on and on and on. Other students started to dislike her, stating that she was too much of a goody two shoes, and often teased her and ridiculed her. They would cast spells like Piggy on her, turning her into a Pig. She had no friends, the only child that ever would talk to her was Palom. She was getting tired of everything.

One day Palom and Porom went to Mt. Ordeals to train. Palom continued practicing his Time magic, and Porom continued learning all types of magic.

"Hey, check out this new spell I am learning, come here, hold on to my cape," Palom shouted.

"Alright, what kind of spell is this?" Porom asked while clinging onto Palom's cape.

"It is a new Time spell I am learning, hold on let me try it." Palom replying in a re-assuring manner.

Palom begins to chant. Suddenly, it seems like a large hole is made into Earth, and Palom and Porom are suddenly sucked in.

"What kind of spell is this?" Porom yells at Palom.

"I thought it was a spell to make us go forward in time a little bit!!" Palom screams back.

Porom shouts, "I don't wanna be here."

Porom starts to cry as the two seem to be flying at speeds of 3-4 mach. They see random objects floating past them, the Water crystal of Mysidia, a treasure chest. Then suddenly, odder things float past them, a monster-like figure that looks like a Unicorn, a monster trapped in Ice. The two look at each other confused and hold on tightly to each other.

They look forward and see a mysterious hole with light coming out of it, and they are heading towards it. Thy clench tighter and tighter as the hole comes closer, and Closer, and CLOSER!! Then suddenly once they go through the hole, they drop about two feet onto some grass.

"What happened?" Palom asks.

"Your stupid spell changed the time. We are either in the future or the past, I don't know which" Porom screams at Palom.

"What are we going to do?" Palom asks.

"Let's see if we can find other people. I am sure there is a town, or a village, or something." Porom tells Palom.

They start looking around everywhere they can. Battling seemingly weak monsters. Finally after about an hour and a half of walking, they see a town in the distance. They run torward it hoping to see if there was anyone in it.

"Use that Fast spell on us, we will get there faster," Porom tells Palom.

"Alrighty," Palom says as he stops. He chants for a little bit and then sees the world around him speed up.

The two continue running until they are at the town's exterior. They stand outside looking up at a crickety sign that is very old.. It reads, "Narshe". They walk in and try to find someone to talk to, yet they cannot find anyone.

"What do we do?" Palom asked.

"Let's look for another place." Porom replies.

The two leave and go looking around again. They find many monsters and such along the way and are getting tired. They see a desert in the distance, and ultimately decide to go across. The hot sun continues to get to them. Palom uses Ice 1 to cool themselves off. Suddenly they see a castle very far away.

"Look there!!" Palom yells excitedly.

"It's so far away..." Porom tells in a disdain tone.

"Not if I use my Warp Spell." Palom says.

He starts to chant and then the two suddenly find themselves at the castle door. A guard standing there looks at the two oddly.

"Where are you two from?" the Guard asks.

"Mysidia" Palom says in a cocky tone.

"My-My-Mysida?" The guard looks at the two for a bit, and then asks them to come in. They rush to the back of the castle, being stopped by the Chancellor.

"Guard, I wish to have a meeting with you..." The Chancellor asks the guard.

"You two stay here, I will be right back," the guard tells the children while walking backwards torward the Chancellor.

"What is the meaning of this?" the Chancellor asked the guard.

"These two say they are from Mysidia, you know? The legendary village of mages," he replies back.

"That's blasphemy, it hasn't been around for over a thousand years."

"But look at those pendants on their capes, those truly can't be fake..."

"Hmmmm....I think you are right. I will have the Matron give them a place to stay for tonight, I will give them a meeting tommorow with Edgar."

"Alright"

"You two, come here a minute. I see you guys are very tired, please follow our Matron to your rooms. We will have a meeting with you at the break of dawn tommorow." The Chancellor tells them.

"Thank you sir" Porom tells the elderly man, then gives Palom a small hit in the side.

"Thanks"

Shadow senses something is wrong. "Hey Setzer i'm afraid i'll have to wait to go to Thasma later. For now I sense something is very wrong. I will see you later" Shadow waves to Setzer and starts to run off. Shadow thinks to himself, I sense two powerful energies. Magic, but how. It was wiped out when the espers left our world. No these two are different.

Shadow keeps running until he finds a town with a boat going to Figaro. "They're there. In Figaro" Shadow says to himself. He pays the fee for the boatfare and begins the trip to Figaro castle. I will find these two. These Magic users. And when I do, i'll kill them. Magic can't be used ever again, Shadow thinks to himself. He goes to his room downstairs and decides to sleep. "Sorry Relm, but I have some business to attend to" Shadow falls asleep

The two wake up to find the Chancellor waiting outside their door. He looks at them with continued disbelief, and orders them, "Come with me."

The trio walk outside of the East Wing of Figaro castle and a few steps through the blazing hot desert before they are back in the main wing of the castle. All three walk to the King's Room where Edgar is already waiting for them.

"You two can go ahead and go in, I will wait out here," the Chancellor tells Palom and Porom.

They walk in to find glorious fabrics of all kinds, on the walls, the furniture, the floor. Nothing was held back. Nothing was too expensive. Their jaws dropped in how beautiful it was. They had never seen something like this in Mysidia. Their wandering eyes then focused in the middle of the room on the King of Figaro.

Shadow finally arives at Figaro castle. "Man that boat ride sucked. Anyways i'm here. So I better go and find those magicians" Shadow walks to the entrance of the castle. The guard at the door stands in his way.
"Who are you and what do..." The guard starts to say and Shadow knocks him out.

"Theres no time for this. I must find them now" Shadow keeps taking out the castle guards until he reaches the throne room entrance. "Yes this is where they are. Its a shame Edgar had to get involved. Oh well, he isn't the one I want" Shadow knocks the doors open and sees Edgar, and the two mages. "Children?" Shadow says. And starts to walk towards them.

[Casanova[OCAU]]

Edgar Roni Figaro returned to Figaro Castle, his home town, to once again, be its ruler. Sabin once again, went away to train with and build his skills furthur, so Edgar was all alone once again. Now, without the empire threatening war, he felt increasingly frustrated and bored. Most of his time revolved around inventing machines to make Figaro Castle more powerful, or life more conveniant for its residents. Trade deals with Narshe, a close ally kept his kingdom sustaining itself for the time being. But the monotone was getting to him. He missed the old days, where the team stuck together and fought thier way through bosses and monsters.

Just then, out of the blue, he sensed two powerful magik users. Immediatly, he sends the chancellor to investigate what was going on. Wasnt the world meant to be magic free once the Espers returned to thier own world? Why are they back again? Did Doma, or perhaps Narshe, disturb the peace once again? Edgar's mind went into overdrive, but as usual, he kept his calm collected composure and put on his game face.

He walked into the guest room, and much to his surprise, he saw two small children, with the unmistakable emblom of Mysdia. He however, did not let his shock show, and winked at the children, and began "so.. what got lost in the desert? tricky isnt it?" And at that instant, the door began knocking. Edgar went to open the door and to his surprise, it was Shadow! Shadow didnt speak a word and simply started walking towards the children. Edgar, feeling a sense of unease, suddenly called out "SHADOW!.. it has been a while my friend. How may i help you?"

"Stay out of this Edgar. Stay back. i have to take care of these children. they possess the ability of magic" shadow says grabbing his short sword Striker. "Goodbye children" Before Shadow can strike them down, Edgar blocks with his lance.
"Stop this Shadow, these children are from Mysidia. The legendary town" Edgar keeps Shadow at his place. "I will not let you kill them. They may be able to help restore life back before Kefka destroyed the world."

"Or they could be the end of all humanity. They could even bring back Kefka" Shadow says and knocks back Edgar. "But maybe your right." shadow then puts his Striker back in its sheath. "Sorry you two, but I just didn't want to have the end of the world again" Shadow says to the twins.

[Tinkleheimer]

"What should we do?" Palom asks Porom.

"Let's do the only thing we know, Magic..." Porom exclaims with force.

The two look around the perimiter and start to chant in unison. Their chanting starts off as a light voice, but then gets louder. Suddenly, a large burst explodes in the middle of the room. Everyone in the room feels the effect of it, but no one is seriously hurt.

"How did you like that Eruption?!" Palom screams.

The pair start running around the room, each chanting on their own with different patterns and tones.

"ICE 4!!" screams Palom as a giant Icicle comes out of his hands. It misses every person, but destroys the Eastern Wall of the room. Everyone stares at the two twins in disdain. They've never seen spells or magic like this. It is hard to believe that this magic is coming from mere children...however the battle enrages on...

Kai walked through the dark forest. It was night but Kai had no time for rest. He was looking for somewhere to go...somewhere to stay. He was a mercenary and looking for work. He didn't know exactly where he was going but someone at a village before had told him about there being a place beyond this forest called Fagaro. Kai didn't care where he went, he travelled around the world looking for good jobs. "One day...I will find a job that I will stick to...a powerful job...with high responsibilities."

Kai continued to search through the forest. He knew he must have been close as he had been in there for almost a week. "This forest is huge!Surely I must be near to this 'Fagaro'." Kai continued down a main path until he saw a huge tree that had fallen in the way of the path. He looked around him and the only way he could go was to the right or go back. "Looks like Im gonna have to go right and around it." Kai entered what seemed to be a much darker part of the forest. He was very cautious as he walked through the creepy, dead trees.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, three trolls came out. They stood in his way, not looking as though they were going to fight him...only getting in his way. Kai pulled out his blade and stood waiting for one of them to attack. Getting scared eh?" With that, Kai jumped into the air and sliced one of the trolls across the head. It screeched in pain. The other began to swing at him with his huge club and missed him by a whisker. Kai then lunged at the troll and cut him across the torso. The troll bled to death. Then just as Kai thought he was finished, the last troll appeared. Kai got two daggers and threw them at the troll's face. The troll yelped in pain as he tried to pull out the daggers. While he did this, Kai jumped towards him and stabbed him 3 times in the chest.

Kai was knackered and needed to rest. He found a nice little spot under a tree. It was pretty hidden away so he decided to take the risk. Kai sat down and began to fall asleep...

[Casanova[OCAU]]

Everything happened too suddenly! One second, Edgar was defending the kids from Shadow, the next second the room was freezing and exploding. His first instinct was to check if he was hurt. Surprisingly, there wasnt even a scratch. 'Heh.. still got it.. evaded all of it' he thought, and started looking around for Shadow and the kids. Shadow was in the corner knocked out, and the kids began firing off spells in random directions. He edged around what remained of the room to Shadow. He tried screaming to the kids to stop, but they seemed to be in thier own world. It seemed like they were out of control and Edgar needed to put an end to this mayham quickly, before any furthur damage is caused. He racked his brain and it went on overdrive.

Before Edgar and the team took on Kefka, Edgar commisioned a top secret project with the Chancellor, in case Kefka decided to use any of his little tricks. He hadnt had a chance to test if it worked. But what better time to test it than now. He quicky shot around to see the oddly shaped brick in the wall, hoping that it wasnt destroyed. THERE IT WAS! Without hesitation, Edgar punched the brick with all he had. Suddenly, a rumbling began underground, and in an instant, a huge shockwave was sent around Figaro castle.

Since defeating Kefka, Edgar offered Sabin the position as general of the Figaro army. He had decided to travel the world and take his Martial arts skills further. As much as he enjoyed improving his skills, he did miss his friends. Sabin decided to go to Figaro castle to visit his brother.
He had to make his way from South Figaro to the castle.
"Brother, I'll be home soon." Sabin said with high spirits.

The two kids were just casting spells all over, most of them missing. Porom looking around the room saw Edgar hit a strange looking object in the wall, then immedietely felt an explosion below her.

"PALOM STOP!!" she screamed.

The two look at each other scared. They have no idea what is going on. They run over to Edgar and clench onto him because they know he is the one they are supposed to be talking too.

Kai woke up to a huge loud noise coming from about a mile or two ahead of him. He looked up and saw what looked like a huge shockwave rising up into the sky.

"Maybe that's coming from Figaro..."

Kai picked up his weapons and continued his journey towards Figaro. He walked and walked and walked until he found an opening. He raced towards it and out into the open. He looked up into the sky and took in the sunlight. He laughed to himself and looked on ahead. Past the huge field he was in was Figaro. The great castle stood tall above the city. Kai jogged across the field and approached two guards standing at the main gate.

"Hello there, how can we help you?"

"Well my name is Kai Tiamat and I am a mercenary. I have been travelling across the world for a few years now in search of jobs and ways to make money. I heard that the city of Figaro was meant to be one of the richest cities in the world. So...may I come in?"

The two guards looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.

"First I think you should speak to the King, Edgar..."

"But isn't the King busy?"

"Ahhh...what the heck, follow me."]

The guard escorted Kai through the city and towards the castle. When they reached the castle the guard started talking to one of the castle guards.

"...Ok I'll take him from here...thankyou very much."

Kai followed the castle guard as the other guard went back to the entrance.

"So then young lad...what business do you have here?"

"Well I am a mercenary in search of some work. I heard that Figaro was and still is the best place for making money in the world."

They continued up a huge flight of stairs until they got right up towards the top. The guard stopped infront of a huge red door with a sign on it saying 'Throne Room'. The guard knocked on the door and waited for a reply.

"Yes...who is it?"

"It is Hurtle...ID no. 36591 sir! You have a visitor..."

"Ok, send him in..."

After travelling for a few hours, Sabin had finally arrived at Figaro Castle. A few of the soldiers greeted Sabin as he entered the castle.

"Sir Sabin, you look well!" One soldier said as he shook hands with Sabin.

"HA HA, thanks!" Sabin said with a grin, "Where's Edgar?"

"He's in the throne room with another visitor."

Sabin thanked the solider and walked off, as he went to the throne room he saw another person waiting outside.

"You want to meet the King to, huh?" Asked the man. "My name is Kai Tiamat."

"I'm Sabin, and I'm here for business not pleasure." Sabin said pleasently.

"You're prince Sabin. I suppose the King wouldn't mind if you say hello." said Kai.

"You may come in now." Said Hurtle.

As Sabin and Kai entered, they were both suprised to see that two children were holding onto Edgar. And Shadow was there, and it seemed that Edgar was fighting him.

"Brother what's going on? How comes Shadow is alive?" Sabin asked with curiosity.

Shayma awoke in the middle of the night in the small inn located at the centre of Figaro. There seemed to be some sort of disturbance at the reception desk. He slowly opened his door in order to hear what was going on.

"Mam, we have a report that there is a wanted criminal using your inn"

"Oh my God!!"

"Do you recognise this man" The Guard then showed a picture of Shayma

Damn, i better get out of here.Shayma quickly ran inside his room and locked the door. As he was putting on his traveling clothes he heard a knock at the door.

"Open up!"

Shayma ignored the call and grabbed his dagger. Just as he readied himself for the attack the two guards smashed through the door.

"You are under arrest for destroying the Figaro orphanage and murdering two orphans"

As he just finished saying orphans the guard burst into flames, whilst the other one charged at Shayma. Shayma jumped out of the way and stabbed the guard in the back.

Without wasting any time Shayma jumped out of his window and ran into the night...

Edgar's head was spinning. It was all calm just a day ago, and he was wishing it wasnt. Now it looks like he has bit off more than he can chew. The two kids, seemingly safe, stopped thier casting and retreated momentarily to his side. Edgar decided to take shadow to his infarmary and rest for a bit in his throne room with his two kids. But shadow, didnt stay down for long. He was now awake was absolutly furious and rushed into the throne room, and the kids immediatly retreated to his cape. Edgar slowly started fingering his chainsaw... hoping he wouldnt have to use it against an old comerade. Just when things couldnt get any mroe confusing, Sabin and a stranger entered the room. Suddenly, there was hope for reason. Edgar opened his mouth and said, "shadow.. u're outnumbered. I obviously like to talk this over with you. So please. Lay off for a bit will ya!?"

"Fine, whatever. Lets talk then, since apparently your brother and a friend has arrived. Anyways I guess we need to talk about why I am here after those kids" Shadow finds a chair and sits down. "So shall we begin this grand conversation?"
