When I was eighteen my best friend and I were caught by two guys, on our way home after clubbing.
The one with the gun grabbed me and had his gun on my temple or my nape all the time, he would move it back and forth between the two places and hit me with the barrel everytime, they were very, very nervous especially, because they couldn't shut my friend, who was screaming at the top of her lungs, "my" guy kept telling her that he was going to shoot me if she didn't shut up, but she just couldn't stop.
They wanted our stuff, but, we didn't have any, so, they discussed right then and there about raping us over at the weeds beside the railroad tracks that were across the street and then, just shoot us in the head, when someone came out of a house, shot a gun up in the air and demanded to know what was going on.
My friend broke loose (she left a fistfull of hair in her guy's hand and they decide to take off, I've got pushed to the ground and the guy with the gun aimed the gun at my head, but the other told him that "there witnesses" and they took off.

It took us a long time to go out again, interestingly enough, when i realized that there was a good chance that the guy would shoot me in the head by mistake, since he was so incredibly nervous and his hands were so sweaty, I made my peace with it all pretty quick, feeling only a little pitty for those that were going to be affected by my death, and regret that my friend was going to see me killed as the last thing she would experience before she would die, but not fear at all, just acceptance.

Even so, I wouldn't like to experience such extreme thing, ever again, I've been mugged and even taken hostage in a store robbery, with the guy directing me to the back room gently, but with a gun on my kidney, but, nothing as, I guess I should say dire as that first robbery.

This happened about a year ago at Boy Scout camp. A group of us (about 20 people total) decided to canoe to this island about 3 miles from the camp. So we did and we ate lunch there. Then we had to head back, me and my friend were about a third of the way back when the waves started getting dangerously rough. Then we got seperated from the rest of the group and it started raining and the wind was get stronger. Then we fell out of our canoe, about a mile off course to where we were going and drifted to an unknown rocky shore. We thought we were done for, we were in the water struggling against the waves for almost an hour it seemed like. So then we got to the rocky shore, and got the canoe up on the grass. (It was hard, it was still raining and the rocks were covered with moss) Then we went to this house, it looked unbelivebly awesome! There were fountains everywhere outside. Then this lady who was in her 50's it looked like greeted us, so we told her our situation and she let us stay there for awhile. The house was heaven, there was a giant plasma screen television, a pool, a hot tub, and that lady's cute 20 year old daughter. So we called the camp and one of the counsulers came and picked us and the canoe up. We were about an hour drive away from the camp lol. It was a crazy adventure.

The only near-death experience I can recall having, was when I was affected and infected with a serious case of pneumonia. This happened quite a few years back, I must've been... five or six.

I can remember... my fever being so high that I was blacking out--my head simply had enough of my own body's heat. I was rushed into the hospital, and the nurse saturated my skin with icey rags. That didn't do anything. I was then immersed in an arctic bath. That didn't do anything.

I remember a turnicate being thrown onto one of my arms.. blood swiftly being drawn. I think I soft of smiled, and closed my eyes. Even though my skin was cold, I wasn't (if that makes any sense).

All I can recall is... being transported to a very sleek, metallic, silvery-grey place. It was as if I were within a car-tunnel, or a train tunnel. My surroundings were moving fast, though, I wasn't.

Well, in any case, there's my experience.

While I have NO medical experience, I think that the human brain is active for something around 6 minutes after the body dies. Now while I think that during those 6 minutes, the brain fires off every last bit of hallucinogenic chemical in your body (or something to the same effect) so that your mind actually comprehends up to 6 minutes of a mind-blowingly (literally) blissful experience.

I guess your 6 minutes will be boring.

(Also, feel free to check my facts. Most of them are probably a little accurate, but still kind of wrong. Or something to that effect.)

My near death expiernce is a short one but it felt like forever.

I was at my friends house and it was like her birthday or something and me, my friend, and my best friend were eating dinner in the back yard, and there is a huge unfinished porch up there and the way to the other side is on this one frail board and we were all eating on that side. When I had eatin my dinner I told my friends "I'll be right back." And I started to walk back on the board and I sliped and went out cold. When I woke up I was in the bottom of this super dark pit and I was bleeding all over the place and let out a huge scream of pain. But then someone came over to the pit with the board and pulled me out. Suprisingley enough, the cut was really small.
