Midgar ruins, again. 1 vs 1

[Itachi Uchiha]

the sky was scorched with dragon fire as the once populated city of midgar had now been brought to its knees by one man, sephiroth.

He silently waited on the roof of the shinra corp tower for someone to challenge him as taking the city was all to easy for him.

then in the distance he saw someone, something heading towards him at a extreme speed. it jumped from building to building as it drew closer

sephiroth readied himself for battle as it got closer. holding a defence stance he waited for his oppenents first move....

[-Xu-]

She had heard of Sephiroth, or rather the bounty placed on his head by ShinRa. Well he should put up a bit of fight.

Raising her blade, Xu charged it with Aero and sent the magic flying towards him.

leaping to the next building, his face was just scratched by the spell as he just moved in time. in rage out of being hit by someone he thought was weak, he combined his sword with a flare spell.

Darting towards Xu at full speed he inteaded to finish her with one slash from he explosive blade.

" i won't miss you, you pathetic little mortal" he said as he brung his sword down on her.

Diving to one side Xu felt the tip of the blade rake up the left side of her torso. Quickly she flipped herself up, trying to hide the shock on her face. Before her, admittedly strong, enemy could strike again, Xu callede the might of Thundaga into her sword and lunged towards Sephiroth.

returning to his defensive stance, his sword clashed with her now empowered weapon. the two spellsfought against each other as the might of there users were unleashed.

As the magics exploded, sephiroth drew back again only for his lower left arm to be hit by the blast.

ignoring his pain he reganed his balence and using the over of the dust that had risen he hoped to get a surprixe attack on his Xu.....

[-Xu-]

Almost choking on the blinding dust there was no sign of Sephiroth, Xu spinned round knowing that this enemy wouldn't just flee. He could be anywhere.
Xu dropped to the floor on her knees and cast Aera at herself turning the dust into a sandstorm with her back on her feet, in the eye of the storm.
Feeling refreshed from the spell, she watched the swirling maelsrom of sand for the faintest sign of movement.

the sand storm was to powerful, he couldn't get through it.

" what the hell has she done?!" he shouted out

using some logical thinking, he cast ultima into the storm hoping to bring his oppenent out. at the same time he cast dispel to make sure she was there.

he jumped for cover as ultima struck the storm and the blast tordown the building they were on.

as the dust settled he thought to himself ' there is no way she would have survived that'

but was he to be proven wrong....?

Turning around just in time to see a haze of green appearing through the sandstorm, Xu was flung into the buffeting sand.
The magic sustaining the maelstrom had absorbed most of Ultima, but not enough to completely dissmiss the attack.
Cruel particles whipped Xu as she landed roughly on the ground in a heap.

Rubble from the collasped building provided an uneven surface but not for long as Xu levelled her blade, and swung the charged blade in a wide arc, carrying many stones up in the impact and straight towards Sephiroth

seeing the stones being hurled at him, he managed to slash afew in two but some large ones hit him in his stomach. winded from the stones he fell to his knees as they hit him with much force.

knowing xu could make another move if he stayed there. he got back to his feet and held his sword high. again he put flare in his sword and dashed towards her. he got face to face with Xu and brung his sword down on her, at the same time he dug his feet into her stomach and jumped off her onto the shinra tower.

digging his sword into the tower he balenced on it and started to fire flares down onto his oppenent hopeing to summon enough power to crush her in one final spell.
