1st person writing style

umm..so, I have two ideas on stories that I'm writing out, and one of them is in the first person, which is really hard in my opinion to decribe certain things..anyways, heres just the first paragraph of it..and any critiques or suggestions to my writing style would be great. Thanks ^_^

And now it finally happened, in the blink of an eye, exactly as I had dreamt it. Only now, every feeling, every sound, and every detail were real. Countless nights of this dream, of this moment, unfolded, as if prophecy. Countless nights of fear and trembling, now ended. So much for the dream of life. I leaned my head against the window, just as before, and smiled. So much for a future. A tear fell slowly down my cheek, and I swear I could almost count my heartbeats, as time seemed to freeze. Every star in the sky, the sound of the rain, my three friends and everything else faded away, as I closed my eyes. So much for hope. The tires from the car shrieked, and we began to spin. The two girls behind me, Bethany and Jessica gave out a scream; the screams I had heard so many times before. The scene played itself, over and again in my mind, flawlessly. Yet, something felt wrong. I was still somewhat in disbelief that this was actually happening. That it was all over. A high pitch ring, shot through my head and my sight blurred. Vaguely, I saw a car flash its lights at us. A pain pierced through my body, and then the moment ended, just as it did in my dreams. A truck crashed into the side, forcing my head through the glass on impact, as the other car collided head on, almost crushing me between the two. Blood ran down my hands, and I took my last breath.

Wow, stinks to be him. I'll bet it's another dream. It's not really happening he's just having another vision. Otherwise I don't know how it would play out from there. Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with the style or technique, though I really need a larger sample to make a qualified assessment.

It seems like a very good story.The grammar is well place,the description of the events happening are very good.

I hope your writing career goes well and that you publish a book one-if you want to publish one,that is.I highly recommed you to become a writer.

It was pretty interesting. You need work on your comma usage, though. But interesting little snippet.
