Wait.

Let me get this straight.

You want to leave Athens, Greece to live in California? Are you shitting me? You have got to be shitting me. Please, please tell me that you are not serious about this entire post. Oh boy. I'm going to be disappointed in you. Sorry!

I have a dream to leave my country and travel to another country. And then I would leave that country and travel to yet another country. My dream pretty much consists of traveling. Was that the answer to your question? I was kinda lost and upset by the first part of my post.

I'm actually planning on leaving California and moving to Japan.
Where I'm going, I can actually do something with my life, and have a few jobs to guarantee my living. xD

Hey Bunny, She is talking about doing the same thing you are doing. You should probably take into account other peoples perspectives before discounting them. Lets try to be a little nicer to those from other countries aspiring to come to America. Trust me when I say there is a lot of appeal to come to America...a lot. I wouldnt be here if it wasnt for my canadian grandparents who moved down here, moving all of my family down here.

As for Greenday, I know exactly how you feel. I have traveled a lot, but i really really just want to move somewhere else that is completely foreign to me. Who knows when that will happen though.

I agree with everything Bunny just said.

Although I've not been to California, I have loads of friends who live there, and they say it's not really that wonderful....but! Dreams will be dreams, and if it makes you happy, go for it!

However, like Bunny, I'd looooove to travel. I wanna SEE Greece, so I'm jealous of you for living there.... Bet the summers are hot as ****...

I don't know if I'd move out of England -- probably not, but I'd love to go places!

I understand how one could take that as discounting sometimes perspectives, but that wasn’t really what I meant. I just found it somewhat humorous that the place I am from and the place that I want to go most in the world is almost identical in a backwards way to someone else. I wasn’t trying to be mean with my disbelief, but I guess it sort of came off that way. In my defense though, I did offer an apology for my not understanding it all.

I know you did, And i thank you for posting that, Its just that Greenday sent me a PM Thanking me for understanding her. I was just addressing my concerns publicly because we need to be a little bit more kosher as to other peoples perspectives..really its my biggest pet peeve, but I do thank you Bunny for posting that.

Oh and I cant wait to go to England soon..well at least I hope to!

I guess it's like this because nobody find their homeland interesting. Probably because they're used to everything that we're not.

Britiain is boring to me, but I know loads of people from all over that want to visit this country!

I wanna go everywhere, though. Greece is one of many places I wish to visit.

Boco, please add more content to your posts, thanks. One-liners aren't taken kindly here. ^^;

And yeah, I think most people don't like their homeland because they're used to it and all that stuff, and know more things that foreigners don't. xD

I love the irony of everyone's posts... and to further add to the irony, here I go.

I'm actually bored with the city...as in New York City. I'm sick of tourists getting in the way of my everyday activities. It's actually, dare I say it, boring. Yes, we do have a shitload of sights and history, but when you see it everyday, it becomes mundane.

I probably should put my life in perspective though, and actually look at the history of the city and my family's own history in building the city... looking back on those who have toiled to build the city into what it is today. I suppose it really is amazing to have hundreds of miles of subway tunnels underneath the city and rivers.

But yeah, I'd love to go to Greece, England or Cali anyday, but I really wanna see Ireland.

Caaaaalifornia love. Been there. Loved it. Should have stayed. Returning there at some point.

That's what I love about America. It's one country, but there's fifty different states you might as well just see as different countries.

I've had enough of Europe. I'll preferably spend the rest of my life in a constantly warm, friendly, busy, pretty state.
