I want to get this one how is it? new characters? old characters? fighting style? plot? hard bosses please? let me know. thanks

Well I hear the graphics are great.The new charaters[the ones I know so far]are a guy named Vann,a princess[can't recall her name],a bunny women.
No old charaters are in any FF sequel[Exept 10-2].The fighting stlye is similar to kingdom hearts,in this FF you are able to move around and fight.Also like any FF game the bosses will be hard.Hope this helps you!

it's a good game

there are 6 usuable characters in the game. namely vaan, panelo, basch, ashe, balflear, fran.

fighting/battle system is like ff12, mmorpg style. where you engage in enemy you see. there are no more random battle. and that's what i find good about because it's less irritating for sure.

plot? there isn't much love story this time. so players who are expecting the usual love stuff in other ffs will be quite dissapointed.

hard bosses? there are always hard bosses in ff isn't?

what else do you wanna know?

WOW you really know alot about the game and can't wait for it's release.

moving around thank god. i always thought most of the bossses were kinda easy. FFX's annoyed me a bit. and no random fights is good. those were always irritating

marc: i've already completed the game.. ( i'm trying to complete the quests n getting all the summons, not an easy task )

some hard-core classic rpg lovers may find the "no more random battle" annoying as it's so unlike the usual rpg.

but seriously, random battles are freaking annoying only good when you are lv-ing up ( how often will you do that? when there are monsters everywhere.. )

I think I'm going to get the import version. After seeing the opening in Japanese I thought the cinema was amazing. Well right now all I have is an Import version PS2 anyway. So I hope it is as good as everyone says it is. Yes Random battles can be annoying as hell when you are trying to advance the story and then another random battle.

Im not to sure i like the sound of the battle system... Then again maybe i have got it wrong... You say its like the kingdom hearts battle system right? Then how do you control more than one character? Can you just swap between them? I look forward to seeing some top of the line graphics... But i usually like my FF's with a bit of love in there xD

I totally agree hiowever on the lack of random battles, there is little more annoying than trying to get something done, but can only move 3 steps in a row due to random battles.

I dont like moving around. I like a whole battle sequence, like the screen breaking(FFX), or it "twirling"(most of the others.)

Yeah a little romance would be good, but I can't wait to get this game either when it comes out. And honestly I'm glad that he random battles are gone in this game.It did get annoying.

It's a good game, new chars of course. Though i haven't come that far so i've had the chance to fight a boss. Anyway so far it's really good, good graphics, etc, etc. But you should explaing the starter post a bit better.

The story's main character (or so I think,one of the main characters at least),Vann,has a friend called Panelo... though she's also his girlfriend of some kind... I'm not sure,but I though that if they're in love then there's no other love-story in this FF.
...Which is extremely okay to me! I've been kinda waiting for FF that doesn't have so much love in it. Oh by the way XII also has great graphics. See,those little...umm...what do you call them...u'know...movies... have allmost same-qualited graphics than the game itself. So they're great.
