turns or free

do you like fighting where everyone waits or when they all rush in and attack? I prefer when they all rush in. gives the game a bit more excitment

I'm use to both styles, although when I did play with the active mode for the first time, it did confuse me at first cause there was so much going on, but now I really like it. ^_^

its more hectic that way. It'd be nice if damage was more realistic but we would loose pretty quickly

I like both modes. Active mode is a bit of a challenge sometimes and it makes the game a lot more exciting. Wait mode is for when you want to take the time to think of strategies and other ideas so you can defeat the enemy. In active mode, you have to think quick about what you are going to do. You may make a mistake and it might cost you the game. At least with wait mode you get plenty of time! I use a bit of both from time to time. I like Active mode better though, it's great fun.

I like just the one where things are on pause til you actuaslly make a decision. That way, I can be as indecisive as i wish to be.

In active mode it makes you think faster, I don't know about other people but I don't just press random buttons, I think ahead and it makes the game a lot more enjoyable if you could just get use to it.

I've always liked the turn system and the ATB.

I played FFX-2 and that was confusing enough for me with everyone running around and not always going back where they were and the enemies just spread out everywhere. This would be better if the field looked like it did in chrono trigger.

I played kingdom hearts not that long ago and it took me awile just to get use to that. I've played mostly FF and that's it so that was a big change for me. That was pretty good once i got used to it though. Star ocean 3 was the same. I didn't know what kind it was till I played it, but once I got used to the controls it was alot of fun for me.

I really like both and can ajust for either, but I do prefer the strategy involved in the turn based system best since that's my strong suit.

haha I agree Hisari, when I first played X-2 I was like O_o "wtf" But it just takes time to really adjust to it before you really start enjoying it, so I suggest everyone just mess around with ATB for like, twenty minutes and if you don't like it still then oh well. =/

I think it's better when you don't have to wait for your turn. I just prefer that.

I just kind of found it strange that the two FFX's were so contrasting in their game play style. I love the X-2 system because u have to think fast but it also made the dress-sphere system worse than it already is.
