The Legend of Dragoon

This game is the next best thing in RPGs if your out of Final fantasy games to beat, then try this one its great.........But am i the only one that thinks so?

To me this is the greatist game ever! I have played it who knows how many times and I never get tired of it.

*Hmmm I dont think soooo... the first time I played the game i thought the maker copied cloud and made his own hero.but the game was not so bad,I enjoyed playing the game especially with the combo attacks that needed timing to execute!But I would say any other game greater than Final Fantasy would not be this game....I can give you a list of games that would knock legend of dragoon out hehehe

I like Legend of Dragoon. I love it more than life, but less than Final Fantasy Tactics. In my opinion, Legend of Dragoon should have been FFVIII, but alas...

I loved LOTD it was really cool but i never beat it i got really far fighting some wierd one eyed dragon...WTF.It was cool though everyone is impressed how im the only one who can fight with Albert

It'd be pretty cool if people actually explained what they liked about the game. But maybe I have too much time on my hands, and take things too seriously.

Legend of Dragoon is an okay game. I remember playing it back when I was a Freshman in High School (circa 2000-2001, or so) and liking it well enough. I managed to make it to the last disc and started fighting some really tough boss monsters. I gave up after the first, second, maybe third try and I never really looked back. Shortly after I stopped playing it on a regular basis (mostly due to my new fascination: Suikoden) my brother sold it.

I bought it my Senior Year of high school (circa.. 2004-2005) and have played very little of it. My mind isn't so much on video games anymore. I may pick it up again one of these days, but I highly doubt that.

I love Legend of Dragoon =) Rose was the shizz. Yeah I thought the makers were trying to copy Cloud though, with Dart...and his voice was really weird. >_>

I loved this game. Never got to beat it though keep losing my file and having to start over oh well. I plan on beating this game one day when i get back into the mood to play it...

This is one of my favorite games. I think it might have been my secong Rpg after Super Mario Rpg . It was also the first rpg i completed. I would have have gotten into Final Fantasy without it because i would read reviews for it and the reviewers would either say how the game was as good as any Final Fantasy out at that time or how it wasa cheap ripoff of different Final Fantasys , so of course i had tocheck out this "Final Fantasy" and i loved it , but it made me realise that there were similarities in the game from some FF's.Anyway When i first started playing this game i had some trouble with the additions but it was cool how you really had to pay attention in battle. Oh and there was voice acting in the cutscenes! I just started replaying it about two days ago and i still think it's still great .

This game got a bad review from GameSpot.

I got stuck on the Divine Dragon and decided to stop playing a long time ago.

Just resumed my playthrough recently and am now on Disk 4. Pretty good game, but they could've down more with the battle system and the translation, font, and dialogue boxes were amazingly bad.

i loved this game and i just always was playing it and when i got to the fourth disc i had to move and i lost all the disc and i look for it in stores and i could never find it that made me so mad. but that game was kick ***.

It's a decent game; I wasn't really a big fan of the cliche characters and story, but it was still enjoyable to say the least, it had a unique flare. Honestly, the only thing that really kept my playing this game was the awesome battle-system. I definetley enjoy these more interactive battle systems rather then just choosing Attack/Magic and watching some eyecandy. This game is quite old though, you guys are need to get with the times, man. ;p

How the hell do you guys remember what year you beat this game? Did pot mess up my memory that bad..

Anyways, I liked it. But for the same reason... the battle system. The story was good enough, and at the time the graphics were good.

Cheap rip off though?.. If it wasnt for cheap rip offs we wouldnt have final fantasy in the first place. I find it ironic that they call a game a cheap rip off of a game that was ripped off of DQ in the first place..

I love playing legend of Dragoon. I had everyones additions. They were at maxed level and also there Dragoon level but sadly I deleted my file.

I have it, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. I plan to finish it by the end of summer.
