^named by Cesar but I prefer this
Continue Story I have permission to this thread from our own Cesar and I will tell rules how this thread works. I post now beginning to this thread and next poster continues story with at least 75 words. I suggest that next poster always tries to end sentence even if it goes over word limit. I hope also that next poster ends his/her post so that next poster can continue it. This thread isn't any kind of RP. You don't play your own role in story, you continue story. Of course you can bring new characters to story and I really hope that you will do it. If you still have questions how this thread works, you can PM to me or Loco because he knows how this works. So let's start the show... ---------------------------------- Matt was biking on the sandy road. Road was rugged but that didn't disturb Matt. He was going to visit in his friend. Suddenly Matt hit to rock and fly off from his bike. Matt opened his eyes and saw what he was looking at. It was field. Matt was looking at field which was almost empty. Only one cottage in the middle of the field. Behind field was foggy forest that was almost unknow because anybody didn't have came back to tell anything from it or couldn't tell some reason. ---------------------------------- Alrighty, we have now beginning. Anyone who wants to continue...? I did have something to say but I don't remember now it...I tell it when I remember it... I really didn't have much insipiration to start this but there's the start. Pretty boring starting but you will change to it better... Ps. Last thing what I want to say is that "Sorry for my 'bad' language". I still don't speak english as my home language so it have errors. And one more thing...let's turn off sigs. |

Also, the way I have seen this thread run at other forums involves copying the previous text into your own post, and then adding your new text in bold. If the posts become TOO long, then we can think of something different, but I think that would be a good way to do this here. Remember, the character limit has been moved up to 50,000, so I doubt we'll have to worry about that becoming a problem.
Basically, the way this works is a lot like that "Three Words" thread that was in Word Games a while back. The difference is that with this, you actually get to create more of the story than just three little words. ^_^;; ===== Matt was biking on the sandy road. Unfortunately for Matt, something started creeping out from the mist. Something... unnatural. Matt had no idea. The creature from beyond slinked through the field, watching as Matt picked his bike back up, staring at the cottage in the distance. Curious, Matt slowly began approaching the cottage. The beast moved swiftly, darting through the field and brushing past Matt so quickly that he had no idea what had happened. Coming to a halt, the creature turned and rose... and tapped Matt on the shoulder from behind. "What the--!!!" |

When Matt looked over his shoulder he realized it was only his good friend's dog, Stacy "Whew, Stacy you scared me, did you come to get me." Matt patted the dog on his head and looked in the distance. His friends house was still a ways down and as far as he knew it, Stacy had never run off this far before on her own. Matt brushed off the dirt from his pants and was about to get back on his bike when he noticed, the dog started whimpering. He turned around and noticed Stacy was staring directly at the cottage with her tail between her legs. "I wonder who lives there..." Matt thought aloud. Without warning, Stacy darted behind the cottage as if she saw something little and wanted to chase it. Matt stood there and scratched his head but froze when he heard the little dog yelp....

He sighed and tought to himself that being nervous would be ridiculous. He moved foreward with heavy steps, as if his fear was gone. As he approached the cottage, heard a sound come out of the cottage. Matt ignored this and was ready to face Stacy. Witout warning he saw the cottage door open wildly, and all he heard in that split second was: "Well, HELLLLUUOOOOO!!!" |

This idea looks interesting, it's a shame no one's updated it though...guess I'll throw something in and hope it's not too boring.

With a start he remembered Stacy was still behind the house, but she was quiet now. Nervous, he wondered if something got her. He was afraid, but he really should check… ~DragonHeart~ |

With a start he remembered Stacy was still behind the house, but she was quiet now. Nervous, he wondered if something got her. He was afraid, but he really should check… Matt forced himself to tear his eyes away from the dirty, rusted cage, and began to walk around the cottage. The voice from no where was still fresh in his mind, haunting him to the bones. That cage was also an image burned into his young, impressionable, subconscious. The dog's yelp had been odd, but not out of the ordinary, over all, this scene in his life was an odd one, and if he kept on going in this play of a life, he would remember it for all time. After his thinking, he had reached the other side of the cottage, and saw the dog, laying in a pool of its own blood. Matt's mind went into overdrive and he tried to discover what had happened. He heard a sound in the distant, a rustling of bushes, and grabbed a thick stick that was lying on the ground near the dog.
