FF Characters in KH2

I was just wondering if anyone agrees with me that some of the FF characters in KH2 were somewhat ruined. Personally, I think Auron should have still had the shades. His feet were too big, too. Also, the Gullwings could still have been treasure hunters with their original looks, but they got turned into fairies! And couldn't they have put Tifa in her old FF7 outfit? I will admit, though, that Squall and Cloud still looked pretty cool, and Setzer didn't look near what I expected, but couldn't they have just left the other designs alone? Please, give me your thoughts on this.

My thoughts on this are simple. Kh is aimed at children mainly, and some characters are too serious to be portrayed as they are, in there relative games. Auron's dead, calm,quiet also dead, concentrated bitterly sarcatic, did i mention dead?. And kids cant cope with that. Setzer's a huge gambler also, if they made him like that they'd, be accused of teaching kids to gamble and what not he got changed. Some were better though, such as Cloud and Leon imo better than there respective games.
Square couldn't please everyone,and stay true to KH. Something had to change, was how the characters were in FF'S.

I think Mena Suvari (or whatever her name is) that did the voice acting for Aerith should be shot. I liked Mandy Moore better as a voice actress.
Otherwise, I think the others were good. I never liked Leon soo.. I'm not really going to say anything positive about him... lol. Cloud was fine.. and Auron was as well. Yuffie was awesome.

I agree! I hate the VA for Aerith! She has no emotion whatsoever!It drives me nuts listening to her! Leon is a great character. If not Leon then (duh) Cloud. For reasons you all should know

I was upset with the toning down of Setzer's face. In FFVI, he looked like a zombie or something from all those facial scars. Like he fell facefirst into lawnmower or something. In KH2, he had about 2 light colored scars on his face. He was too pretty-boyish

Bah, Setzers always played hismelf up as a ladies man though. Its why he and Edgar really didn't get along so well. I thought he was ok, aside from all the bloody purple.

Cloud was cooler when he looked like Vincent, Leons new furry collar seems more like the old Squall but still not enough, Aeris looked like shit aside from sounding like shit, Yuffie looked alright but I hate her, and I'm not thrilled with Cids voice but I loved his attitude...they just can't seem to come up with a look for him though that was as good as his original FF7 outfit.

Auron was badass. You say he would look better with his shades? You don't know anything. THAT Auron, was the Auron that dragged his sorry carcass down Mount Gagazet and died at Kimahari's feet. That Auron did not have 'shades' because the original, younger Auron did not wear shades. You're lucky they let him keep on arm in his robes. Frankly I thought he was a lot more in character than some of the other KH FF characters.

Vivi was cool. No complaints there, cept it would've been neat if he would've actually weilded magic.
Seifer, I hated at first, but the new 'gangsta' Seifer grew on me when he called Roxas a chickenwuss. Fujin and Raijin were cool as ever, just wish I could've fought them again. Never was able to fight all of the 'diciplinary committee' at once.

I absolutely LOVE what they did with the X-2 Trio. Teenybopping little twerps that they are, representing them as the mischivious, bumbling DUPES of a Disney villain was a marvelous touch. But thats because I hate them, their game, and everything associated with it. Classic.

The art style is different in kingdom hearts. So they just make the characters look more like a kingdom hearts style. because if Auron looked like he did in final fantasy 10 he wouldn't fit in. (like the pirates of the carribeain didn't but they couldn't really fix that very well anyway)

I agree with Ton.Some of the FF characthers have been destroyed when they changed their age and costume.Tidus is small and why does Yuna,Rikku and Paine has to be fairies than actuall human beings in the game.

I thought they were great. I liked the way that the Final Fantasy characters were in Kh2. I liked the different costumes. Since they already had thierown game ad are just cameos in KH i wasn't expecting to much from them and enjoyed seeing them.

I think that with them all messed up, you could definitely get it through your head that you weren't playing a Final Fantasy Game. This was Kingdom Hearts... a game that is truly like no other. SO, when one complains that they were all screwed up, you kind of have to think that the characters weren't there to interact with the others and hunt for spheres or kill Sin. This was Sora's story. The Final Fantasy characters were just there to give the game a little pizazz. Even though it was kind of a bummer that they were all kind of messed up, you have to think, that this isn't their original stories... so it's only natural if they were spruced up for someone else's game!

That's how I look at it.

Well Nomura said that the Final Fantasy Characters where just "guests" in Kingdom Hearts,It is annoying to know they will never do a world for FF but I will always love how KH is,

Leon I like but I wish they made him more like his FF8 self or something sweet looking like Cloud in KH,Aerith's voice actor is terrible!she sounds like a robot.

Cid sounds stupid,and Tifa I didnt like either I thought she was supposed to have a tough voice? not a "OMG have you like seen a guy with spiky hair?"voice(btw I loved that part Sora rubbing his hair XD)

I got used to Seifer's voice and started to like it and it his look but Raijin ah he sounded horrible!he sounded like he was trying to be a rapper or someything I always expected him to have avoice similar to Wakka's they both are alike with the "Ya?" and the "You know?".

I also hate how they got rid of David Boreanaz!The new Squall wasnt bad or anything I just like David a hundred times better XD.
