Those unaware of the issue, allow me to
explain. Supposedly, June 6th, 2006 (666)
signifies The Day of Satan. From said issue,
has brought about speculation, and outlandish
rumors, being the END OF THE WORLD!

I personally feel that these people need to be
in a straight jacket, and under lock and key.

Anyways, please feel free to discuss this issue,
and share your personal feelings, however, keep

And what about 1906, and 1666?? There are a lot of "666" dates, and the world isn't over. If something bad happens it could be coincidence. They said the world would end in 2000, and another BS newspaper says the world will end on 9-11 of this year. It's nothing but another superstition.

No, because you need a third "6" in there, but there's Something about the sixth second of the sixth minute of the sixth hour, but I dunno the date for that, I just heard that somewhere.

The ACTUAL time of the devil is like...3am I believe, because something specific supposedly happened to Christ at 3pm, like when he died or something, I'm not up to par on the details, but the hour of 3 is when all should be asleep. It's called "witching hours", the time where the demons rule that area for that hour (taking time zones into consideration). It talks more about it in the Exorcism of Emily Rose, based on a true story and the biblical facts they use in there, I believe, are true (in the religious sence, which I am not). Makes you wonder, though. I'm on the brink of believing demons and devils are real, but I'm not sure on what level, religious or factual from a different plane of dimension.

I dunno. It's POSSIBLE something could be up, but not PROBABLE. Nearly anything is possible if it's not proven either way.

Well I am nearly up all the time between 3am - 4am, actually thats about when I normally go to bed. Nothing strange has happened, its dark and the other night it was Windy but normally nothing changes :S, in fact cause of the time differances its about 10am - 12am in the USA.

As for the 06-06-06 I think a lot of stunts will be pulled that day as people will know its that date, I know a lot of Metal bands will be playing, Slayers new album will be released and its Toms b'day etc. But I am sure a lot of stuff will secrectly be done and not a coincidence, anyway isn't the real number of the beast like 616? I don't know but it will be interesting to see what happens.

Oh and I am 20 hours ahead, so anything in America would happen on the 08-06-06 for me.

I don't think anything of it. It just doesn't seem like anything out of the ordinary for me. I'm sure some people will go out of hand and do stupid things, but I doubt it's the end of the world or anything like that.

That's strange. When I was little, I always thought midnight was the "witching hour" then I was watching these programs on the Discovery Channel, and they had people on there saying that the actual "witching hour" is at 10pm. They didn't mention it to be when demons 'rule" and whatnot, just at that particular time, the barrier that separates the dead from the living is at it's weakest.

As in, if you're going to experience something supernatural, chances are it'd be at 10pm.

I don't know what I believe, all I DO know is shit like that scares the crap outta me. I live alone, (well... I have 2 cats and a dog) but I've also got an overactive imagination and if I watch stuff like that you can be guaranteed later on at night I'll be laying in bed awake, positive that I'm going to see something.

I also agree with Odin, in thinking that there's going to be alot of pranks and whatnot, probrably similar to 4/20. All I know is that I'm going to make sure my pure black cat stays inside that week. I always do that around certain 'evil' holidays. People are freaking sick I tell ya.

Hmm....maybe his number is ACTUALLY 666, not three seperate sixes, but as in six hundred sixty six? So maybe 2666 would be the year to worry if all that stuff is true...which we won't have to worry about unless we live for over 600 years.

I never heard of witching hour being 10 or 12, I knew OF a witching hour but I never knew what that hour was till I watched that movie. If you decide to watch it (if you haven't already), I suggest you watch it during the day with some friends....so you can make sure you're sleeping by 3am. I guess your correct about what happens, because, I guess, and I could be wrong, but anyone who is posessed is usually posessed shortly after 3am or right at 3am, and odd things DO happen but it's supposed to be related to the demons terrorizing people.....or something to that effect.

Like Odin, I usually go to bed at about 3.30am - 5am. I always think the "supernatural" hour is 2am, but thats because the house makes horrible sounds all through that hour -- and I don't really feel comfortable leaving the room at that hour, either.

I doubt the 06.06.06 will mean anything... Meh, 2666 sounds more like a "world ending" date. I am going to see "The Omen" in the cinemas on that day, though. Dean's sister is meant to be going into labour that day, but if not, he, Amy and me will probally go see the The Omen instead. ^_^

If anything happens that day, and it's obvious that it's happening... I won't care. My only regret will be not having spent the day with my boyfriend. That's all, I guess.

I have come up with a few different theories of how the world could end....two are factual based on the physics of the universe and yadda yadda.

1) Armageddon (If I am correct, this means the Ultimate Battle between heaven and Hell..."Left Behind"....either you're in heaven or hell, no exceptions)
2) The sun swelling in size before exploding, we will die before the explosion due to extreme temperature changes
3) Another ice age. It's been proven there were two before, and it can happen again (eventually) and start life all over again

I used to have a couple more theories, but I forget them and these three are the more likely ones. It's just up to which happens first (Except the religious theory if that religion isn't REALLY true, I try to keep open to these things).

06/06/06 does not equal 666. Especially not 06/06/2006.

They world was still fine on June 6, 6 AD. But then again, the Gregorian calender was created in the 1500's. So, 6/6/6 AD may be some other date in Julian calender.

The AntiChrist will be JEWISH, the Bible says that, and he will unite all religions and for the first 3.5 years everytihng will be all happy. Then, the "scales" will fall off the Jews' eyes and they will realize he is a fake, BUT it will already be Hell on Earth for the next 3.5 years.
