That looks bad ass and Clouds English voice is not that bad at all. I think they are doing real good with the english version thus far. I actually liked how Cloud let out that force of energy to meet the earth attack head on.

But than again... maybe I would like Clouds voice just a tad deeper, but not too much. But looks awsome... Thank you for that Palazzo.

Wether you duy it or not. I;am sure it'll come with all Japanese language first. Like most Anime you buy from the stores... you end up going through all the settings changing them to english voice overs with no subtitles.

But for this one. I'll watch it in Japanese first than English later.

I enjoy the voices. They aren't like OMFGZOR!! but I don't mind them. It gives me a little insight to what Squaresoft might have wanted Cloud to sound like in the FFVII game.

It's definitely better to hear everything in English, than read it in English. Helped me understand a little better.

Don't worry the US version will have the japanese audio track with subtitles. So you won't have to watch it in English if you don't want to.

also, i'm pretty sure some international casting director chose those voice actors.
not square-enix's idea of how cloud sounds if you ask me.

Wow I thought EVERYONE was in agreement that Steve Burton did a great Cloud when he first did him in the first Kingdom Hearts (for those who didn't know YES the same guy who voiced him in KH and KHII voices him here). This is the first time I've heard people complain about his voice.

The dub work here is SOLID (there are so many people quick to bash dubs, when they haven't heard what a REALLY awful dub sounds like). Let's not turn this into a Sub vs Dub argument please. I mean sure, voice your opinion, say that you liked the Japanese voice of Kadaj better. But there's no right or wrong way to enjoy Anime.

it's atrocious. much more respect for the japanese kadaj.
at least i would take the time to hear out his evil plan. if i were cloud in the dubbed version i'd just omnislash him from the start.

cloud is passable in my eyes, just barely. kadaj will not fly.
and mina suvari is doing aeris? i'm glad aeris doesn't have many lines cause she sucked big time in KH2

I am stuck in a dial-up location currently so i don't get to watch it yet

but i thought that the person who played him in KH did a good job so I'll give it a chance. However, the DVD will most definately have both japanese and english dub versions so it doesn't really matter because you can view either one.

on a side note, I've seen the japanese version and it kicks ass. The fight scenes are amazing. I also plan on buying the engrish dvd when it comes out and will watch both

THAT I can agree with, she just sounds dry and robotic.

About Kadaj, from what I've been hearing is the voice actor intended to sound as crazy as possible. I think it really works for the character personally, Kadaj IS crazy. And nowhere NEAR atrocious (although I think to be fair, a couple sentences is HARDLY worth judging)

EDIT: Kadaj still reminds me of a less flamboyant Ash Crimson, their Japanese VAs even sound similar.

i think cloud voice in Eng version is not as good as Jap one. Jap Cloud voice is cooler n stronger. Eng Cloud voice sounds a bit weak. Just my point of view. And Kadaj also Jap is better.

btw, i've noticed that the Eng lips sync is still sync with the jap version one. I dun think they took the past few months to edit their lips to sync with new Eng voice cast. hmmm.... too bad.
