I have no problem with gay people at all. My ex boss from work is gay, my dads friend from work is and a couple people at my school are gay. There is a town not to far from where I live, called Provincetown, it's at the tip of Cape Cod. The town has majority of gay and lesbians there, and I think the town is great. I mean everyone is friendly and cool with me. By all means if they want to show afection I really don't mind at all, I mean I've seen tons of people holding hands and kissing and what not there when I have visited. though sadly many people are intollerant of gay people. A few years back there was a rivalry game in Boston of a couple differant teams, in highschool basketball I believe. The game was very close and when one of the teams one many fights broke out. One of the kids in the crowd happened to be a gay person. he acted very femeninly and when he tried to get on the t a group of people surrounde him and beat him brutally til he was hospitalized for several weeks. It just goes to show how people truly can't accept people for the way they are which is sad. Hopefully one day poeple will just be more tolerant of others.

We are all sinners, and we're not capable of paying the price.

I don't have a problem with gay/lesbian people at all. I think it's great that people are finally coming to accept them, it must be terribe to be discriminated against simply because of your choice of lifestyle.

However, the people I have a problem with are those I have dubbed 'Social gays'. I don't know if you get them anywhere else, but where I live it pisses me off something awful (I'm from the west of Scotland).
These are little emo kids who think it's cool to go round saying they're gay and messing around with the opposite sex with absolutely no intention of forming a relationship. They only ever do it in public I.e. shopping centres, gigs etc. They only do it in public because they want people to see them and to think they're cool and different.
If I were gay, I'd kind of see it as an insult to have these little kiddies mocking my lifestyle.
I dunno, it just annoys me. Sorry if this has been brought up before.

There is nothing wrong with gays. They are the same as us, Except they like people of the same sex. Thats all. They are no different. I know this one gay kid in ouot school who is always being made fun of cause he;s gay. Thats ridiculus, don't you agree?

I've got masses of gay and bisexual friends. I don't mind. It's not like their persnal life has anything to do with me. Love is an awesome thing and if it happens to be with somebody of the same sex, then so be it.

Hell, even I've been throguh a bisexual phase. It was great. "More potential lovers, w00t!" But yeah. Gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual. I don't care. Be what you are, be what makes you happy. Nobody should have the right to tell you otherwise.

Of course they do. Homosexual couples should have equal oppertunities to heterosexual people. The idea of homosexuality may confuse some of us, and we may think it is strange, but they are still human beings and deserve human rights. Having an affection for the same gender is all in a matter of choice. It works the same way as growing up.
Do little boys randomly wake up and say: I LIKE GIRLS TODAY.
As you grow up, teenage hormones came in.
Homosexuals grow into becoming gay by choice.

I do not agree with it and I do not care if people disagree with me or not. It contradicts with my beliefs and when you are a homosexual, you are living in sin. Of course we are all sinners, Homosexuals refuse to back away from their sin and keep living in it. As we all know,

Ew, dude. I can usually compromise with you on things in intellectual threads, but I feel this will have to be our first disagreement.

As time has progressed, same sex couples have become way more common.

By the way, I hate the title of this thread, it's ****ed up and makes the creator sound like a complete jackass. Homosexuality is fine, alright? Jeez...

People don't grow up to chose their sexuality. I have a male friend, whom struggled with himself for years in his teens. He forced himself into dating a girl to try and "unhomo" himself, but failed miserably. Now the girl and he are good friends, but he's finally accepted the fact he can't change himself.

I don't think it's personally any right of ours to choose the way people feel.

I'm sorry I'm straight. Should I turn gay? Should I force myself to become attracted to a female friend of mine? No. Not me, or anybody else. Nobody should have their lives chosen for them.

Do they have the right? Well since this is a "free" country anyone has the right to do anything as long as it isn't against the law. It's not against the law to be gay, act gay, fu*k/suck gay, or kiss gay, so they have the right to do there own thing.

Well genes do affect what you are attracted to. The majority of people aren't strait by sheer coincidence. Therefor it's entirely logical to think that the gene that controls that can fluxuate. Obviously it isn't the only factor, experiences change things as well, but you do not determine what you find sexy, your body does.

As for homosexuality, I have mixed views. A couple of guys porking eachother up the arse does not strike me as enticing. A couple of decent looking ladies going at it on the other hand, well golly, that is some good shit. Even better if they allow us guys to join in. So, in my opinion, homosexuality = wrong, but female bisexuality = a damn good thing.

I agree. Genes have a large part of how we react to certain things. Our genes are pretty much us in the long run, right? Like me for example. I went through a bi phase... Yeah, I found this girl attractive, and she said she "loved me", but... only personality wise. If I'd have dated her, it would have never worked. I want some c0ck. I've got a boyfriend and he can fullfil all of the things I need, example, a masculine touch. It's only what I look for, but others just need something similar to what they already have.
