Hmm... it reminds me that I have some stuff I made for my site long time ago. It's X-men styled world with a very general story line.
IF you would like to I can post it in RP section and we can start to rpging.

It's an interesting concept least ways. Could you give us further details Serra? We may do it for recreation before we get onto actual matters of ranking.

As to a shop, I did try to run Anomalous Weapons over on the other site and I believe Mage would be highly interested in persuing a similar endevour. If anyone sees him hanging around, give him a punch in the arm about this. As most of you know, I love designing weaponary...

Would a seperate thread for such be applicable however? I'm not certain but I thought I saw something ot that effect floating around these forums.

It would be interesting to have a complex type storyline with the setting taking place in a typical RP style world and each of our characters could be some sort of warlord type person from their own country/kingdom/etc which is wanting to make claim to a land which holds some kind of importance or value...

I also think that we should maybe give more history of our characters in the RP.

Hmmm... I know... Anomaly! How about this grand idea I have festering inside thy skull.

I was thinking a simple plan. Any of our newer members... (that woud enter from this site) ... I could train... if they so insisted. It would be a nice and simple seting of my choice and I could make them go up against Side or Shelus.

Either that, or... I could help you in the creation of desired weaponry. You know... swords. Swords being my personal favorite (as you know as well) to work with in Role-Playing and Reality would give me great ease in such creations. They would be great works of art worth anyones use.

Ahh, right. Warning in advance would be appreciated next time, but it is understandable.

As to the School, as I recall it didn't pan out.,..but we attempted to begin it in a place that was frankly STAGNATE. This place is a bit more lively...its possible it could function here. Would you like to bring it back into existance? I only vaguely recall the School myself...I think you ought to repost what it was all about before we decide to fully activate it once more.

If it is your wish to train those that prove themselves in trial by combat, then you shall have that privilage should such an event occur. From other sites certainly, as I've already given you permission for such...however on this site I'm not certain training WITHIN the club will be all that necissary. Still, should it come up, I'll be sure to notify you.

As to further matters that may pertain to the School, if you would liek to be a Teacher in said school you could discuss that with Mage. I believe that such a system existed last time.

Oh, and Godean, when you get the chance please respond to me on the idea of the MMD?

Now, as to matters as they lay at the moment, I'm afraid the other club has been uncommunative with me. It is unfortunate that members are so lax around here, but I suppose my expectations are a little high at the moment. We will, thus, proceed with plans for the Story RP and continue setting up such programs as the School and the MMD.

Challenges ARE allowable now, for those that wish to attempt to rise in rank. I WILL be opening the forth Godhand position on this site for purposes of sport. Meaning that if you climb high enough, there will be no one stopping you from attaining a top spot.

I will continue with diplomatic measures as it pertains to other RP clubs, but I suppose they will need some time to get used to the idea of our presence.

Well... now that you mention it... I would very much like to increase in rank. As par to all of our knowledge, I'am currently of the 'Chosen' rank. There is not a single soul in the 'Master' rank though. I would simply request a challenge to someone that would allow me to travel to the next rank... if I prove myself that is.

If one such soul would accept the challenge... which character would I be allowed to use?

You can challenge a GH member if you so wish... regardless of win or lose you would be judged on your performance, and if so deemed your rank would be raised to Necrophim.

I do believe that one needs to be of the rank of 'Necrophim' in order to challenge a GodHand member... That may be of old rules alone however, if so, forget my statment.

I believe that is if they wish to challenge a GH member for their title... i'm sure they can request a battle to move up a rank though.

If i'm incorrect, then Shane would have to challenge a Necrophim... i'm not sure who is currently in that rank.

Lord Decay... if your are incorrect, then Godean is the only Necrophim present. And I would love to issue a challenge. If you are correct then I can challenge one who is of the Godhand? If so... then who shall I challenge? Yourself? Makoto? Or Makoto-Tribal? Either way... I'am sure a battle between either one will be a well suited event.

Now if I were to be seen as a canidate for advance after such an event... would I go up the ladder by one and achieve 'Master' rank, or do I kill two birds with one stone and obtain 'Necrophim'?

This actually does raise the point of how we will judge battles in future as well as the rewards for such battles.

As things stand I'm of a mind to maintain the rule that Godhand members can only be challengable by a Necrophim, as Godean stated. As such, Shane, you would have to fight someone of greater or lower rank outside of the Godhand. If of higher rank, then should you win your rank will automatically increase. If of lower rank, then you would have to win more than one victory before you would be allowed to advance.

Allow me to go into detail.

You're 'Chosen'. If you defeat a Necrophim or Master you will gain one rank. If you defeat another member of the 'Chosen' then your battle would be judged and a rank could be awarded or withheld depnding on the Godhands rule. If you sought to challenge an 'Adept' you would have to win at least two battles unless the judges ruled otherwise. For a 'Novice' I believe the number would have to increase to three succesful battles.

However, there are two additional sources of rank up via RPB. If you were to engtage of battle with someone OUTSIDE of the club and succesfully win, that battle could be judged and rank could be awarded in that fashion. ALSO, if a Godhand member were to challenge YOU yourself AND your proved victorious, then yes, as Decay suggested your rank would be automatically raised to Necrophim.

At the very least thats the general way in which I feel it should be run. Unless the Godhand has something to add or disagree with.

Godean. You shall be the one I desire to take up arms against. Since you are the only one that I can challenge and are of higher status... without being Godhand... it is only suitable.

I'am curious as to which character you would like to fight however. Perhaps I shall start with Side. Unless you feel I should use Shelus instead... please let me know. The challenge will be brought to light bright and early tomorrow Morning. I would have no problem doing it now, but I need sleep.

All this talk has me wanting to get back into creating summons and familars for people again. Damn.. Havent made any of those in a whiiiile, at least not for RP use. *laughs*

Also I wanted to ask, since it hasent been brought up here yet, if ranking up in the TFF 'club' will count as ranking up in the clan overall, and vise versa. It seems that it may be a rather important point for everyone to keep in mind when decided where to issue and/or persue any challenges in the future..


Edit; Nice looking RP Serra. My only question is will there be any limitations on the kinds of mutant powers availiable? Obviously I'd be quite interested in having a character with transformational abilities, probably manifest in the form of a small albino fox, but I'm not sure if that might be pushing it.. Or if I'd need to add weaker but more useful powers as well?

You can use any type of personality/powers/race as long as it not owerpowered. The character need to be balanced. I mean it can be very strong but have to have some weak points as well. And I was sure you'll go for something wolves related. But if you like the fox, go on.

Its been a while since I've 'done' much with my Vulpine side, besides, a wolf seems both overtly cliched and overpowering. With this I can lay claim on sensory related skills as well as agility without actually having an unfair amount of physical power into the equation..
