Final Attack materia?

I am on Disc 2 and Have gotten Omnislash back on Disk 1 and now have W-Summon on Disk 2. I do not have ultimate weapon for Cloud yet, must I have that before getting Final Attack materia?

No not really. The aquiring of the final attack materia is solely dependant on finding it and having the ultimate weapon is not necessary. If you want, you can get the materia first and then get the weapon later or vice versa.

MIME : Cave south of Wutai, need a chocobo

Final Attack : Win in battle square

Mime- Requires Green Chocobo, In the materia cave near Wutai (If you need more on that PM me.)

Final Attack- Get it the first time you win all 8 battles at the gold Saucer battle square.

I went back to the Battle Arena at the Golden Saucer and went up to the lady to the right with both Omnislash and w-materia both won already at the battle square. I also have the championship belt. The lady mentions nothing about a special battle just the same old question asking me if I want to fight. I went through some fights and tried to buy the omnislash agian but it only allows one of each of the top three prizes. I am on Disc 2 and do not have ultimate weapon for Cloud. Any Ideas? I have about 6 million gil. I have a gold chocobo at the S level.

No you do not have to have the ultimate weapon for cloud in order to get the final attack materia...it just makes things a little easier...but really you can get either of them first and the other second.

I finally got the final attack materia. I needed to have Cloud's ultima weapon before you could fight in the Battle. I am still on Disk 2 and now trying to master all my materia including the enemy skill materia.

You can get Clouds ultimate weapon on disk two. You just have to beat Ultimate Weapon in second disk. Many peoples do it on the third because you have higher levels in there. But you don't have to wait to third disk. You can have it on the second disk.
