New FF7 tech demo

I hope they make FF7 for ps3 but of course its just a tech demo, but they should make a new one

To tell you the truth I’m sick of hearing about FF7. And no I don’t agree with the remaking of FF7. How about the remake “The legend of Dragoon”.

Well this thread has been made on this forum about 82 times, so I would recommend searching for a previous thread, and don't be surprised if this thread gets closed

However, I would prefer a direct FFVII sequel to the original instead of a remake but I think eventually, yes a remake will be made because the obvious demand for it over the past 9 years. Square-Enix has directly commented that a surprise revelation will be announced at this years E3 show, however what it might be is unknown. Maybe FFVII, maybe not. Either way it should be good.

this is my opinion they should make it exactly like the old one just improve the graphics but i know the japs cant live with haveing the same story line crazy japs lol

I only back a FF7 remake or sequel because all the new Final Fantasys they make are shit.

Why remake it with better graphics? Why not remake all the games with better graphics? heck why don't they only remake games and never make new games.... Better yet why don't they only do FF7 over and over and over again. Seriously though guys comon why remake it just for better graphics... you damn graphic bastards, your the reason why rpgs are on the downfall, they have to spend so much time on the damn graphics for you guys.

I've never seen the "better graphics" reasoning for a FF:VII request. Better graphics is just something that would be a given if a remake or sequel was developed.

Also, the reason for remaking FF:VII or making a sequel to it, is because it is by far the most requested remake/sequel compared to any other FF game at the moment. The fan base for FF:VII is higher than any game, it is also the best-selling RPG (since March 2006) selling almost 10 million copies worldwide, on top of having so many different storylines for spin-off creation. These are only a few reasons why a FF:VII remake/sequel would be considered as opposed to any/every other Final Fantasy.

True there are the respectable fans out there that request FF:VI sequels, and FF:VIII sequels -- but these are heard far and few between the FF:VII fan's cries. So it's not the point of "Why not make remakes or sequels for all the Final Fantasy's?". It's the fact FF:VII is so popular, and whatever Squenix develops via the compilation of the Final Fantasy VII series will be bought, and 9 times out of 10 the fans will love it.

You do give good arguments to making though, but they wont just remake it right now, they will wait untill like they 16 years old now are like 21 or something. If they worked on it now, thats how long it would take anyways they said.
