What's your favorite band?

Genericore. Essentially, they are generic metalcore. They have some talented musicians in the band, but they put it to waste playing some of the most generic metalcore ever.

Ah, I don't think I could imagine them playing any other way. Anywhoo, so long as they're talented, they're awesome. Putting it to waste? They're doing something right, just look at their success so far ^_^

Mainstream success means nothing, any band that writes music with catchy hooks can get popular.

Funny. I least expected Relient K to be listed seeing how its a Christian band. Most of my favorite bands but not all are unpopular mainstream sucess.

I have a favorite in different cateogories. I`ll list a few:

Rap: Cross Movement
Hard Rock: P.O.D.
Punk: MxPx

And for good Christian parodies such as "Smells Like Thirty-Something Spirit"
(You`re old, You`re old, You`re old, Oh OH!) And some sick cowbell tunes with "Don`t Fear the People" I have to make a shout out for ApollogetiX.

Well i choose Greenday due to them being so god damn good lol. There music is 1 of a kind and they have been a really long running band. I have heard that people mostly prefer there old music and i would like to kinda agree with that. There old music was out of this world but there music right is Brillaint also so it doesnt really matter when they where at there best.

No, honestly they should not. It would not fit the atmosphere of the game at all. Diadema Tristis, on the other hand would make a brilliant band to do FF music.

Actually, Arctic Monkeys are Indie, Maroon 5 are pop, Metallica are rock, and the rest is pop/punk, emo, nu-metal etc.

Indie isn't a genre because it refers to a band being independent. You can easily call most bands people consider 'indie' Alternative Rock.
