I hate phones.

Mine vibrates for a call, and it vibrates once for a text.

It's not the best phone in the world, and I doubt that it's the worst.

Some people are just unhealthily obsessed with the damn things.

I personally think phones are one of the more evil devices mankind has ever made in defiance of God's will. He wants us to go talk to people in person.

Regardless, I find myself out and about, and I own a cellphone for emergency purposes. I am a believer that the more annoying your ringtone is, the longer it takes to answer your phone. Therefore, my ringtone sounds like a phone ringing. Just really F-ing loud. Logical and practical. Simple is better.

I have a bad record with cellphones. I always end up losing one or even breaking it. Me and cellphones are not a good match.

However, my current phone which is a Razor I've had surprisingly for 5 months. I try to not download to much shit because my parent's nag about what I download but the ringtones I have are:

Mims: "This Is Why I'm Hot"
Jim Jones: "We Fly High"
Young Jeezy feat. R. Kelly: "Go Getta" (This is my default one)
Petey Pablo: "Show Me the Money"

I saw the movie "Step Up" when it came out in theaters back in August and I liked the song when I heard it in the movie. Since then I told myself that when I got a new cell phone. I would immediately get it as a ringtone. As for my other ringtones, I got them because I simply just like them. Those are my current favorite songs.

I have I'm a Pirate from Pirates of the Carribean as my calling tone, and Love Me or Hate Me by Lady Sovereign when someone texts me.

I have a Razor, in gunmetal. I've had it since November. I have a ton of weird ringtones on my phone. I tend to like the theme of being a jokester with what people hear before I answer the phone. Lets see. For ringtones I have I can't drive 55, 40 ft, Dark of the Matinee, Sunglasses at Night, Cold as Ice, and Peoples Court Theme because that sounded like a good idea at 5am. I just take it all as a joke and try to find fun in my phone, haha.

My father has the People Court theme, Mariko 40 ft, Alucard Cold as Ice, my brother smooth criminal, and uncle Sunglasses at night. Oh and my work is I can't drive 55. Quite a list of songs...

Way to revive a year old thread...

I have a Nokia. I have about 35 ringtones, but I use the most basic one; the "ring ring" one. It's boring, yes, but I don't own a phone to download expensive ringtones.

I downloaded a Korn one about three years ago, and it came out as a series of repetitive squeaks.

I've had a cellphone for awhile, but ringtones have never really been my kind of thing. Call me a cheap bastard, but the amount of money you pay for a ringtone is absolutely ridiculous, and for some services, it's not even permanent (it's like you are renting the ringtone for an amount of time). I have a small selection of default tones, ringers, and melodies, and I try to cycle through them and change them periodically seeing as having the same ringtone for too long drives me insane. But yeah, I'd rather just have it on vibrate myself..especially in class, it keeps me..let's just say excited.

But somehow Sprint charged me an insane amount of money because they claimed I downloaded a Justin Timberlake ringtone. It's funny because there is J.T. ringtone on my phone...those f***ing bastards at sprint!

What a neat topic.

Currently, I have the "CTU" ring tone heard on FOX's hit show, "24." I also use the countdown beep heard at the end of "24."

In the past, I've used the Capcom jingle as well as the CODEC ring from MGS and yes... the Power Rangers' communicator ring.

I can't believe I've never thought of using the MGS alert SFX as a ringtone! It's genius!

I like using one of the inbuilt nokia ringtones. 'Mexican Hatdance'. I like it because I like to get reactions at times, and it cracks me up that almost no-one likes the hat dance tone. Singing to it works wonders too.

If I don't feel like attracting too much attention, I'll set it to vibrate setting only.

I only have one downloaded ringtone, which I use for everything. Fog Bound - Pirates of the Carribean. It makes me smile, and it's not an obnoxious tone like all those bad rap songs people up here like to use.

I don't really use my phone much anyways. I have it mainly for emergency use and there's only two people who call/text me so...yeah.

I have a pink Motorola RAZR and I just placed a few songs onto it to use as my Ringtones. I have Guns n' Roses 'Sweet Child O'Mine', '14 Years', 'You Could Be Mine' and the Willy Wonka theme song from the Johnny Depp version LOL. What an awesome ringtone that is!

LOL! I had the Mexican Hat Dance on my older phone and whenever it came on, my Dad would start dancing to it like an idiot! It was hilarious though. You know, I have an SMS alert of Homer singing that song on my phone now. It's the best!

My cousin had The Veronica's as her ringtone for ages and it was annoying. She would keep playing it over and over on purpose.

I gave one of my older phones (Yes, there's more than one) to my Mother and it originally had 'She Drives Me Crazy' by the Fine Young Cannibals on it. It makes me laugh whenever I hear it. The song was already on there when I bought it.

I have a Nokia. I change ringtones almost once a week. Currently, i have a song called Lavomeno Xotiko, which means Wounded Elf. It's by active Member, a greek somewhat hip-hop band. The song's not that hip or hop, that's why i like it.

For the message sound, i have the 1st opening song from Bleach, called Tokahashi or something.
