I'd say star trek enterprise is by far the best yet. I've watched almost all the episodes of all the versions but deep space nine for obvious reasons (it lacked so much elements of the common star trek versions that I look at it as a branch off show instead of a full fledged star trek show.

Star trek was decent but because it was so long ago that it the appeal has lost its shimmer to me. The main reason I even watched it was for William Shatner. (best actor ever!!?!?! lol)

Star trek the next generation was pretty good, solid story line common to what the star trek shows are suppose to be about "exploration". Nothing more to say really.

Star trek voyager was decent, it took about a season or two before I really got into it but it became rather entertaining.

Star trek deep space nine, well I just personally hated this show with a passion, watching people walk around on a space station having all these problems was very boring to me. Even the actors did nothing for me and the whole fact of this one shapeshifting race was kind of retarded in itself, I never recalled any recollection of this race before, to be honest if your going to make a star trek stay with the original species, making up new ones you might as well just create a show that doesn't indicate at all a link to the a previous show.

Star trek enterprise is by far the best just because the fact the story line is solid to the original star trek, and its better looking then all of the previous star treks. Although this is "previous in time line" to all the star treks, it was still well done.

The way I would list them from best to worse is:
Star trek enterprise
Star trek the next generation
Star trek voyager
Star trek the original
and......

-deep space nine-

I have to Pick Star Trek TOS. While TNG was great, I have to look at all of the obstacles Gene Roddenberry was facing while trying to do TOS. He had no money, he could hardly get any backing from a studio, and he was trying to pioneer what would become one of the greatest sci-fi franchises to date. It was also interesting how he portayed many social issues the world was facing at that time in his episodes. There was also a wide variety of cast members with different ethnicities. Much of what he did on TOS changed what had been socially acceptable. So that is why I pick TOS. It was the catalyst that made all of the other series possible. On a side note a new Star Trek movie will be coming out in 2008. It is to be directed by J.J. Abrams wo did Mission Impoosible 3, Lost the T.V. series and Alias. The new movie is supposed to focus on Kirk and Spocks first meeting in the academy and their first missions in space. TOS fans may like that.

I voted for DS9. Frankly, I think it was better television then anything else in the Trek world recently. I mean, come on, you have the Dominion War, lots of explosions, and the best (please don't kill me Picard fans) character from TNG, Worf.
And to get a little more technical, I thought there was a lot more continuity in the series as a whole, over other ones.

I love the Next Generation-era shows, but I've picked TNG as my personal favorite Star Trek series.
